Abstract:
Provided are a pipe which exhibits corrosion resistance against vapor of fuel such as gasoline, diesel oil, bioethanol or a biodiesel fuel, a method for manufacturing the pipe, and a steel sheet for manufacturing the pipe. A method for manufacturing a pipe having a bent portion which has excellent corrosion resistance against fuel vapor includes the steps of; preparing a steel sheet for manufacturing a pipe which is characterized by having a zinc-nickel (Zn—Ni) alloy layer where a nickel content is 4 to 16 at % on at least one surface of the steel sheet; forming the steel sheet for manufacturing a pipe into a tubular shape such that the Zn—Ni alloy layer forms an inner surface of the pipe, and applying bending to the pipe such that the elongation of the bent convex portion generated at the time of bending the pipe falls within 20%. A steel sheet for manufacturing a pipe having excellent corrosion resistance against fuel vapor has a Zn—Ni alloy layer on at least an uppermost surface of a surface thereof which constitutes an inner surface of the pipe, and a nickel content in the Zn—Ni alloy layer is 4 to 16 at %.
Abstract:
Provided is a steel sheet for manufacturing a pipe having corrosion resistance against fuel vapor of fuel such as gasoline, light oil, bioethanol or bio-diesel fuel, and a pipe and a fuel supply pipe. In the steel sheet for manufacturing a pipe, a Fe—Ni diffusion layer and a softened Ni layer which is provided on the Fe—Ni diffusion layer are formed on a surface of a steel sheet, and a thickness of the softened Ni layer is set to a value which falls within a range of 0.9 to 8.1 μm thus having corrosion resistance against fuel vapor. In the pipe and the fuel supply pipe, a Fe—Ni diffusion layer and a softened Ni layer which is provided on the Fe—Ni diffusion layer are formed on an inner surface of a pipe formed of a steel sheet, and a thickness of the softened Ni layer is set to a value which falls within a range of 0.9 to 8.1 μm. In a fuel supply pipe 20 for supplying fuel to a fuel tank 23, the fuel supply pipe includes: a large-diameter pipe portion 21 through which the fuel passes; and a small-diameter pipe portion 22 which makes an upper portion of the large-diameter pipe portion and a lower portion of the large-diameter pipe portion communicate with each other for ventilation, and a Fe—Ni diffusion layer and a softened Ni layer which is provided on the Fe—Ni diffusion layer are formed on an inner surface of at least the small-diameter pipe portion, and a thickness of the softened Ni layer is set to a value which falls within a range of 0.9 to 8.1 μm.
Abstract:
A surface-treated steel sheet having a Co layer, wherein oxidation of the surface is prevented without deteriorating characteristics such as electrical conductivity. A surface-treated steel sheet which is provided with a Co layer on the surface is immersed in an antirust agent, which contains a fatty acid amine and uses water as a solvent, and then dried, thereby forming an antirust coating film on the surface of the surface-treated steel sheet. The antirust coating film containing the fatty acid amine has a thickness of 10-500 Å (in terms of SiO2) as determined by XPS depth analysis. Preferably, the fatty acid amine is benzenemethanamine or trimethylamine, and more preferably, the fatty acid amine additionally contains benzotriazole.
Abstract:
A battery can of the present invention ensures a stable and favorable contact with an electrode and thus makes it possible to obtain a highly reliable battery excellent in high rate discharge characteristics. The battery can having an opening, including a cylindrical side portion and a bottom portion, of the present invention is formed from a steel plate. The steel plate has an Ni—Fe alloy layer on the inner face side of the battery can. The Ni—Fe alloy layer has an oxide layer containing iron and having a thickness of 10 to 50 nm on the inner face side of the battery can.
Abstract:
A steel sheet for a battery container is covered with nickel-tin alloy layer on one side to be the inner side of the battery container which is formed by drawing the steel sheet. A battery using the steel sheet is manufactured by firstly filling positive electrode mix consisting of manganese oxide, graphite and potassium hydroxide and secondly filling negative electrode active material consisting of zinc and potassium hydroxide in the battery container.
Abstract:
A battery case excellent in glossiness of appearance and working efficiency and a surface-plated steel plate which can be used preferably to manufacture the battery case. The battery case is produced by deep-drawing, DI-forming, DTR-forming a surface-treated steel plate having glossy nickel or glossy nickel-cobalt alloy plating on the outermost layer corresponding to the external face of a battery case of a plated original plate consisting of a steel plate. The glossy nickel plating or glossy nickel-cobalt alloy plating layer on the outermost layer has a high glossiness, and therefore the appearance is excellent. The runnability of a formed battery case is high as well as the working efficiency.
