Thereafter, the key service unit 1 indicates a called party number signal reception to the modem 43, and the modem 43 transmits a call to the selected data terminal 371. When the selected data terminal 371 responds to the call from this modem 43, the key service unit 1 closes a communication channel between the modem 43 and the telephone line 251, so that a communication link between the selected data terminal 371 and the telephone line 251 can be established via the modem 43. During the process until this communication link can be established, since the selected data terminal 371 and the modem 43 are in the status equivalent to direct coupling, the key service unit 1 is not concerned in the communications between the selected data terminal 371 and thus modem 43, thus reducing the operational load applied to the key service unit 1.

    摘要: A method of setting operating data is provided wherein a display, at a predetermined key telephone set, indicates the capabilities of all sets of the system to perform the various functions of which the system's key telephones are capable. The display indicates three conditions: whether all telephones are capable of performing the indicated function, whether no telephones are capable of performing the function, or whether at least one but not all telephones are so capable. The setting of operating data is facilitated by this display. Changes made in operating data are not permanent until a setting key is depressed. Before that, the original operating data may be recovered.

    摘要: When light enters a solid-state imaging device obliquely, the light passing an optical path which misses a photodiode part is gathered by a second microlens located in the lower part which directs the light more vertically. A convergent rate of the oblique incident light can be prevented from decreasing. In this way, a solid-state imaging device having high sensitivity ratio, less smear (stray light), and excellent image characteristics can be provided. A metal with a high melting point or a metal silicide film thereof is used as a photo-shielding film. After making the photo-shielding film thinner, a Boro-Phospho-Silicate-Glass (BPSG) film is provided on the entire surface. Then, the second microlens is directly formed on an element provided with a surface protective coating comprising SiO.sub.2, SiON, or SiN, and on top of that, a color filter and an intermediate transparent film are formed, and then a first microlens is formed thereon. The second microlens located in the lower part is formed using a material having a larger refractive index than that of the intermediate transparent film or the BPSG film.
