    摘要: Provided herein are methods of diagnosing and/or treating malignant or pre-malignant conditions in a subject. Overexpression of copy number variant-dependent genes, e.g., genes encoding a cell surface receptor, resulting from copy number changes compared to control is diagnostic of the condition, such as multiple myeloma or monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance. Also provided are methods for treating malignant conditions, such as multiple myeloma or a hyperdiploid subtype, with therapeutic agents, with or without other anti-cancer drugs, to downrregulate the overexpressed CNV genes and/or up-regulate the underexpressed genes. Furthermore, methods for lowering drug resistance in multiple myeloma cells via inhibition of platelet activation or thrombin release and for increasing survivability of a multiple myeloma subject via lithibition of PSMD4 gene to increase b-catenin protein expression are provided.

    摘要: A sequence of video frames is assembled from video clips. The frames have time codes associated therewith. It is desired to match sections of the text (T1, T2) to corresponding sections (V1, V2) of the video sequence. Time codes (TCx, TCx+1) corresponding to the time codes of the video frames are entered into the text. A rate n of reading the words of the text is defined. The extent W of the text which matches an associated section of the video is calculated as W=(TCx+1−Tcx).n. On a text display, the extent W of the text which matches the video section is indicated by highlighting or in other ways. More text than matches a video section may be provided. The excess text or overflow text is distinguished on the display by e.g. color from the active text which matches the video section.

    摘要: The method and system for TV user profile data prediction and modeling allows accurate and narrowly focused behavioral clustering. A client-side system classifies television consumers into representative user profiles. The profiles target individual user advertising and program preference category groups. A contextual behavioral profiling system determines the user's monitor behavior and content preferences, and the system may be continually updated with user information. A behavioral model database is queried by various system modules. The programming, including targeted advertising for television and interactive television is based on the profile data prediction, modeling and preference determination. The system is enabled to present a complete program sequence to the viewer based on the preference determination and stored programming. The latter is referred to as automatic program sequence (virtual channel) creation and the virtual channel can be presented as a separate channel in an electronic programming guide (EPG).
