    摘要: Method for controlling the symmetry of the footprint area of a tyre miming on a straight trajectory with camber angle different from zero, wherein the method comprises the steps: —reducing the contact pressure of the tyre (2) on the footprint area at an inner shoulder (in case of negative camber) or at an outer shoulder (in case of positive camber); —disposing any medium line (Im) of the tread band (9) placed in correspondence with the footprint area substantially parallel to the ground; the invention also defines a tyre and a wheel for motor-vehicles, wherein the medium line (Im) of the tread hand (9) and the rotation axis (X-X) of the tyre (2) form an angle (a) substantially equal in absolute value to the camber angle (β); the invention also encompasses a process for manufacturing such tyres, wherein a green tyre with symmetric outer profile is deformed during the vulcanising and moulding step until a predetermined angle (a) different from zero is formed between any medium line (Im) of the tread band (9) and the rotation axis (X-X) of the vulcanised tyre (2).

    摘要: A motorcycle tyre has a tread band (8) comprising a plurality of grooves that form a tread pattern including a module (T) replicated along a circumferential direction of the tyre (1) and having a predetermined circumferential length (C1). The module (T) comprises a pair of circumferential grooves (20) arranged on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane (X-X) of the tyre (1). Such circumferential grooves (20) extend along the circumferential direction of the tyre (1) for only part of said predetermined circumferential length (C1) and define between them a central portion (A) of tread band (8) having a void to solid ratio substantially equal to zero and a predetermined axial width (A1). The module (T) further comprises a plurality of transversal grooves (30, 31, 32, 33) arranged on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane (X-X) at a distance from said equatorial plane (X-X) greater than that of said circumferential grooves (20) and a pair of first lateral annular portions (B) axially arranged between said circumferential grooves (20) and said plurality of pairs of transversal grooves (30, 31, 32, 33), each of said first lateral annular portions (B) comprising, in a position axially adjacent to the respective circumferential groove (20), a respective part (B1) of tread band having a circumferential length at least equal to that of said circumferential grooves (20) and a void to solid ratio substantially equal to zero. The tyre (1) has a curvature ratio lower than about 0.32.

    摘要: A continuous elongated element of elastomeric material is produced through an extruder at a linear delivery speed and directly fed onto a moving surface of a conveyor without interposition of other devices. The continuous elongated element is advanced on the moving surface along a predetermined direction and at a linear advancing speed different from the linear delivery speed until a proximal end of the conveyor. Subsequently, the continuous elongated element is applied onto a forming support which rotates relative to the proximal end of the conveyor at a peripheral speed different from the linear delivery speed, so as to deform the continuous elongated element and apply it in the form of wound coils onto the forming support in order to form a component of elastomeric material of a tyre.
