摘要: A bonding device for a wearable device includes a first bonding structure and a second bonding structure. The first bonding structure includes a first wire connecting member, a first bonding member and an elastic member, and has a plurality of first mechanical structures configured to form a first mechanical bond and a plurality of first electrical contacts configured to form a first electrical bond, and the second bonding structure includes a first signal connecting line, wherein the first wire connecting member, the first bonding member, and the elastic member form the first mechanical bond through the plurality of first mechanical structures; the first wire connecting member, the first bonding member, and the elastic member form the first electrical bond through the plurality of first electrical contacts; and the elastic member is electrically connected to the first signal connecting line to combine the first bonding structure and the second bonding structure.

摘要: A wound dressing is disclosed. A wound dressing comprises a first adhesive layer, an electrode assembly, a monitor interface and a multiplexer. The first adhesive layer comprises a proximal surface configured for attachment of the wound dressing to a skin surface of a user. The electrode assembly comprises a plurality of electrodes including a first set of first electrodes. The monitor interface is configured to form a mechanical and electrical connection with a monitor device. The monitor interface comprises a coupling part and a plurality of terminals including a first terminal. The multiplexer comprises a number of N input pins and a number of M output pins. The N input pins include a first set of first input pins for connection to first electrodes of the first set of first electrodes, the first set of first pins including a first primary input pin and a first secondary input pin, and the M output pins include a first output pin. The first primary input pin is connected to a first primary electrode of the first set of first electrodes and the first secondary input pin is connected to a first secondary electrode of the first set of first electrodes, and the first output pin is connected to the first terminal of the monitor interface. The multiplexer is configured to connect the first primary input pin to the first output pin in a first multiplexer configuration and to connect the first secondary input pin to the first output pin in a second multiplexer configuration.

A bioelectrode includes a support member, an electrode member, and a connector. The electrode member has a supported section. A plurality of electrode protrusions are provided on the electrode formation surface. The electrode member is formed of conductive rubber. The electrode protrusions each have a base end and a tip. The conductive rubber of the base end is harder than the conductive rubber of the tip.

摘要: An electrode apparatus is applicable on a skin with hair of a mammal for measuring an electrical bio-signal. The electrode apparatus comprises cylindrical chambers, each of which comprises a wall, which forms a cavity within the cylindrical chambers, a roof at a first end of each of said cylindrical chambers, a second end of said cylindrical chambers opposite to the first end being open, and at least one electrode. An elongated structure is located within each of the cylindrical chambers, and comprises a first portion parallel to a central axis of a cylindrical chamber within which it is. A first end of the elongated structure, the first end of the elongated structure belonging to the first portion, is attached to the roof. At least one second portion, each comprising a second end opposite to the first end, deviates from a direction of the central axis of a cylindrical chamber within which it is. The elongated structure rotatable in order to bundle hair when applied to the mammal so as to improve a contact of the electrode with the skin of the mammal.

摘要: An electrode assembly (preferably in the form of a nerve cuff) comprises a base with first and second arms extending from opposite sides of the base, and which, in combination, define an arc. First and second electrically conductive electrodes extend along the inner surface of the first and second arms. Each electrode can comprise a single length of foil can or can comprise multiple discrete foil segments. The foils are electrically isolated from each other. Electrical wires, which are in electrical communication with the each of the foils, extend from the nerve cuff and are adapted to be electrically connected to a signal monitor. When the nerve cuff is applied to a nerve, the foils, in combination, substantially surround the nerve, with the first and second electrodes being on opposite sides of the nerve from each other. Also disclosed is a method of using the nerve cuff to monitor a nerve during a lumbar spinal surgery while the patient is anesthetized and paralyzed.

摘要: An electroconductive hydrogel is formed by hybrid assembly of polymeric nanofiber networks of conducting polymers that self-organize into highly connected 3D nanostructures with an ultralow threshold (˜1 wt %) for electrical percolation. A method for forming the electroconductive hydrogel comprises the steps of: dispersing aramid nanofibers (ANFs) in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO); conducting a solvent exchange with water to generate hydrogels with connective 3D fibrillar networks that serve as templates for the assembly of conducting polymers; incorporating polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) during the processing of the hydrogels to weld the fibrillar joints via hydrogen bonding; infiltrating monomers into the nano-porous hydrogels in an aqueous media; and polymerizing the hydrogels with added oxidants.

摘要: A system for performing fluid level measurements on a biological subject, the system including at least one substrate including a plurality of microstructures configured to breach a stratum corneum of the subject, at least some microstructures including an electrode, a signal generator operatively connected to at least one microstructure to apply an electrical stimulatory signal to the at least one microstructure and at least one sensor operatively connected to at least one microstructure, the at least one sensor being configured to measure electrical response signals from at least one microstructure. The system also includes one or more electronic processing devices that determine measured response signals, the response signals being at least partially indicative of a bioimpedance and perform an analysis at least in part using the measured response signals to determine at least one indicator at least partially indicative of fluid levels in the subject.
