摘要: A wearable device and methods for providing a wearable device are disclosed. In a first aspect, the wearable device comprises at least one power source, one computer controller and a plurality of instruments that when worn on a user access physiological data from at least the user axilla. The wearable device monitors one or more or a combination of body temperature, pulse, R-R interval, respiration rate, pulse ox (SpO2), sleep, movement included fall detection. The device stores, processes and communicates collected or processed data to an external computer system. A software system provides summary information, reporting and alarms based on data collected by the one or more instruments.

摘要: The instant invention is a medical electrode comprising: an electrolyte; an absorbent material being in contact with the electrolyte, said absorbent material comprising a plurality of strands such that each strand is infused with the electrolyte; a pressing means being in contact with the absorbent material, said pressing means comprising a plurality of protrusions to push the strands of the absorbent material through the stratum corneum of a target skin area on a patient; and an electrically conductive means located adjacent to the pressing means, said electrically conductive means being in contact with the absorbent material. The instant medical electrode system achieves reduction of skin impedance at the site where the electrode is placed and generates low baseline noise, enabling accurate measurement of small or weak signals (FIG. 1).

摘要: A process is disclosed for preparing a pressure sensitive adhesive hydrogel. The process (A) provides an oligomeric precursor, the oligomeric precursor comprising a polyether moiety endcapped with ethylenic unsaturation, the oligomeric precursor being associated with methacrylic acid; (B) provides an ethylenically unsaturated crosslinking agent selected from the group consisting of difunctional ethylenically unsaturated monomer, difunctional ethylenically unsaturated monomer and combinations of the foregoing; (C) provides a thiol; and (D) free radically curing a mixture of the oligomeric precursor, the ethylenically unsaturated crosslinking agent, and the thiol in water in the presence of the methacrylic acid at a pH between about 3.5 and about 9 to provide the pressure sensitive adhesive hydrogel.

摘要: A biological signal detection electrode stable in performance over a long period of time includes an insulating base material having electrical insulation, an electrode terminal buried in the insulating base material such that a signal detection surface is included in a part of a lower surface of the insulating base material, a conductive gel film provided on the lower surface of the insulating base material to cover the signal detection surface, an extraction electrode which is connected to the electrode terminal and has a terminal unit exposed on an upper surface of the insulating base material, and a magnetic body to be a counterpart of the conductive magnet disposed below the terminal unit in the insulating base material. The magnetic body is given only the function of mechanical connection, and the electrode terminal is formed of a corrosion-resistant material, for example Ag—AgCl, not corroded by the conductive gel film.
