摘要: The present invention provides for thermosensitive hydrogel for cancer therapeutic and methods of preparation thereof. The invention represents an advancement in the field of cancer therapeutics and provides for a polymer-protein based thermosensitive hydrogel comprising polyvinyl alcohol, poloxamer 407 and bovine serum albumin. The thermosensitive hydrogel can be optionally be enriched with one or more additional component such as photothermal agents, photosensitizers, drugs and dyes. The invention also provides for a method of preparing the thermosensitive hydrogels. The hydrogels of the present invention are inexpensive, thermosensitive, has ability to effectuate sustained release of drugs and can be used for targeted delivery and dual-modality treatment.

摘要: A contact lens product having an antioxidative function includes a composition in the form of a solution. The composition includes gold nanoparticles and at least one non-enzymatic antioxidant. The gold nanoparticles are present in an effective concentration from 0.01 ppm to 3000 ppm and have an average particle size from 0.5 nm to 40 nm. The at least one non-enzymatic antioxidant is present in an amount greater than 0 wt% and less than 20 wt% based on the composition being 100 wt%.

摘要: The present invention relates to recombinant self-assembling protein nanoparticles presenting an albumin-binding peptide at the surface. For the recombinant self-assembling protein nanoparticles according to the present invention, an albumin-binding peptide can reduce the immunogenicity of the recombinant self-assembling protein nanoparticles because the albumin-binding peptide is presented at the surface, and thus binds to an albumin protein present in vivo, and the albumin-binding peptide can also provide the cancer delivery function of the recombinant self-assembling protein nanoparticles because the albumin-binding peptide binds to albumin around cancer. Simultaneously, the binding of the albumin-binding peptide to albumin can significantly increase the in vivo residence time of the recombinant self-assembling protein nanoparticles, thus increasing the potential for use in various medical applications.

摘要: A novel nanocomposite made of superparamagnetic nanoparticles, gold nanoparticles and reduced graphene oxide porous nanosheets is synthesized. The novelty of the nanocomposite lies in three main factors: the porosity of the reduced graphene oxide sheet, the magnetization of the superparamagnetic nanoparticles and the biocompatibility and near infrared absorbance of the gold nanoparticles all in one nanocomposite that does not disassemble when administered in the body. All of which are joined to create a whole and singular nanocomposite that can emit heat due to magnetic energy, become as biocompatible as possible and conceivably allow for near infrared absorbance penetration while the nanocomposite is fully assembled.
