Abstract: An adsorption device for compressed gas or a non-compressed gas, is provided with a vessel with an inlet for the supply of a compressed gas or a non-compressed gas to be treated, and an outlet for treated gas and an adsorption element is affixed in the vessel. The adsorption element extends along the flow direction of the compressed gas or the non-compressed gas to be treated, between the inlet and the outlet. The adsorption element has a monolithic supporting structure that is at least partially provided with a coating that contains an adsorbent.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a support structure of a solid catalyst for preparing a linear alkyl aromatic compound, particularly linear alkylbenzene (LAB), and to a method of preparing an alkyl aromatic compound by alkylating an aromatic compound with an olefin using a solid alkylation catalyst, and of regenerating the deactivated solid alkylation catalyst. The present invention provides an integrated method of preparing an alkyl aromatic compound by alkylating an aromatic compound with an olefin using a filter structure as a solid catalyst carrier for alkylating an aromatic compound with an olefin, and of regenerating the deactivated solid alkylation catalyst, thereby realizing simpler and less expensive processing than conventional processes.

Abstract: Provided is a selective sonication-assisted deposition method of inorganic particles and CHA zeolite membranes grown from seeded uniform layers on substrates using the method and plate-like Si-CHA zeolite particles used for seed layer formation and manufacturing method of the same, in which thin inorganic particles may be selectively deposited on a substrate or on a support, and even a physical interaction between the deposited particles and supports (or substrates) alone allows for obtaining high surface coverage to form a uniform layer, which is critical in reproducible production of membranes of inorganic materials, such as zeolite, by secondary growth.

Abstract: A catalyst system comprising a combination of: 1) an activator; 2) one or more metallocene catalyst compounds; 3) a support comprising an organosilica material, which is a mesoporous organosilica material. The organosilica material is a polymer of at least one monomer of Formula [Z1OZ2 SiCh2]3(i), where Z1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, or a bond to a silic-on atom of another monomer and Z2 represents a hydroxyl group, a C1-C4alkoxy group, a C1-C6 salkyl group, or an oxygen atom bonded to a silicon atom of another monomer. This invention further relates to processes to polymerize olefins comprising contacting one or more olefins with the above catalyst system.

Abstract: An adsorption vessel comprising a packed bed region of adsorbent particles contiguously arranged, comprising a perforated adsorbent particles, a gas separation process using the perforated adsorbent particles, and methods for making the perforated adsorbent particles. The perforated adsorbent particles each comprise an adsorbent material where the perforated adsorbent particles each have at least 10 channels extending through the particle. The equivalent diameter of the channels may range from 0.05 mm to 1.5 mm, and the void fraction of the channels may range from 0.05 to 0.5.

Abstract: The present invention provides a water-resistant composition for adsorbing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) derived from organic matter including: a) palladium doped hydrogen-ZSM-5, wherein the Si:AI ratio of the hydrogen-ZSM-5 is less than or equal to 200:1; and b) at least one water-soluble binder. The invention also provides a method for using the water-resistant composition for adsorbing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) derived from organic matter.
