摘要: The present invention provides a labeled blow-molded container having a convex portion and/or a concave portion on a label face, and a blow molding mold. The labeled blow-molded container of the present invention including a blow-molded container containing a thermoplastic resin; and a label containing a thermoplastic resin film, the labeled blow-molded container being formed by the blow-molded container being thermally fused to a label; a label face of the container to which the label is affixed having a convex portion and/or a concave portion; and a height difference (h) representing a distance between the highest part of the label surface and the lowest part of the label surface being not less than 0.3 mm using the label face as a reference in a height direction.

摘要: A method of forming a blow molded plastic article wherein the article comprises an airflow conduit, comprising: providing a first sheet of insulation material located on a insulation carrier; providing a blow molding mold including two halves and having a molding surface defining a molding cavity to form the article; locating the insulation carrier between the two halves of the blow molding mold; transferring the first sheet of insulation material from the insulation carrier to the blow molding mold; introducing an extrudate of thermoplastic composition between the two halves of the blow molding mold; closing the blow molding mold; forming the extrudate to a shape of the mold cavity of the blow molding mold to form the article; and bonding the extrudate to the first sheet of insulation material as the extrudate is being formed to the shape of the mold cavity.

摘要: The objects of this invention are to set a predetermined height position for the portion of parison or preform that is the first to come in contact with body molding planes of a split mold and to prevent air from being trapped between in-mold labels and the container which is blow molded from the parison or the preform. In-mold labels are fixed to the entire outer surface of body of main container. An annular thinnest wall portion is formed in the wall of the body so that the thinnest wall portion is the first to come in contact with the body molding planes of a split mold. Under this construction, no bulge of air is formed between the body and the in-mold labels fixed to the entire surface of the body.

摘要: A label for in-mold molding, which comprises a laminate configuration of a substrate layer and a heat-sealable layer, wherein the substrate layer is a stretched film formed of a resin composition comprising an α-olefin-based copolymer having a melting point of from 105 to 170° C. and a crystalline propylene-based resin, and the label has an internal haze of from 1 to 30% for a stack of ten labels, does not detract from the shape of a container and does not detract from the outward appearance of the label when the label is stuck to the container.

摘要: There is disclosed a process for manufacturing an in-mould labelled article, the process comprising the steps of: placing a label comprising a polyvinylidene chloride coated film (15) into a mould for injection moulding, thermoforming, or blow moulding; holding the label in position; injecting a polymeric melt into, or thermoforming or blowing a polymeric preform in said mould so as to bind with the label; and removing the article from the mould. A process of in-mould labelling using a label comprising a polyvinylidene chloride coated film is also disclosed.

摘要: A method for making a container including a radio frequency identification label is provide. In an embodiment the method includes placing a radio frequency identification (RFID) label into a mold; positioning the RFID label so that an outer portion of the label is substantially flush with the mold surface; and molding a container such that the outer portion of the RFID label is substantially flush with the outer surface of the side wall of the container. An article, which may be formed using the foregoing method, is also disclosed.

摘要: A blow molding apparatus is provided including a blow mold, an extrusion apparatus, a locator mechanism, and a blow pin. The blow mold has first and second blow mold halves which are engageable and disengageable with one another. The first and second blow mold halves define first and second inner cavities when the mold halves are engaged. The first cavity has a first shape and the second cavity has a second shape which differs from the first shape. The extrusion apparatus has a die head through which a parison is extruded. The locator mechanism is associated with one of the blow mold and the extrusion apparatus for changing the positioning between the blow mold and the die head to allow capture of an extruded parison by the first and second mold halves within a desired one of the first and second inner cavities such that the extruded parison can be formed into an article having substantially the same shape as the desired cavity. The blow pin is associated with one of the first and second mold halves for passing pressurized fluid into the interior of the parison to blow the parison against the first and second mold halves to form the article.
