摘要： A structural panel and method of fabricating and manufacturing same comprises a top panel and a bottom panel separated by and attached to at least one, but preferably a plurality, of structural composite preforms which may be fabricated by a continuous manufacturing process and may be saturated by resin using a continuous wetting process. The composite preforms may take any cross sectional shape but are preferably trapezoidal. The top and bottom panels may be fabricated from a plurality of layers of woven fabric layers and non-woven fabric layers which are saturated with a resin that is subsequently cured using cure processes known in the art. The composite structural panel of the invention is usable as a flat structural member for use as bridge decking, ramps, trestles, and any application requiring a structural panel.

摘要： A male touch fastener strip includes an elongated base and a field of male fastener elements each having a stem extending from a broad face of the base and a head for engaging fibers. The fastener element stems and broad face of the base together form a unitary mass of resin, such as a resin containing a magnetically attractable substance. Wings extend from respective longitudinal edges of the base and define discrete corrugations extending in a series along the fastener strip and forming corresponding undulations in the rear face of the strip along its longitudinal edges. The corrugated wings can also support a foam gasket.

The present invention further relates to sandwich elements that can be produced by a process of the invention, and also to the use of these sandwich elements as wind-turbine blade, aircraft wing, wind-turbine nacelle, boat-hull, or housing for vehicles.

摘要： Method of using a viscous printing ink for the protection of a notch formed in a skin which is intended for a part that is produced using a method including: producing a skin (1) having a notch (2) on the inner face thereof, covering the notch (2) with a protective element, and forming a foam (3) which is in contact with the inner face of the skin. According to the invention, during the notch-covering step, an ink having a viscosity that is at least equal to 0.6 St is applied to the notch (2) via printing and, subsequently, the ink is hardened such as to form a layer (4) that provides a bridge over the notch (2) without extending to the base thereof. The invention is suitable for motor vehicle instrument panels.

摘要： Various embodiments of a mold assembly system include a mold defining at least one trench along a surface of the mold and two or more hook fastener elements disposed on the surface of the trench in an end-to-end relationship. Each hook fastener elements includes: (1) an elongated base, (2) a plurality of hooks extending upwardly from an upper surface of the base, and (3) a magnetic material disposed within the base. The hook fastener elements are unattached to each other and are separately disposed within the trench, and the magnetic portion of the trench is configured to attract the hook fastener elements toward the magnetic portion and hold the hook fastener elements adjacent thereto in an end-to-end relationship substantially along the length of the trench. In one embodiment, the hook fastener elements are substantially the same length and are usable in straight trenches, curved trenches, or trenches having various lengths.

The magnetic layer is located on the third surface or the fourth surface of the wings of the second band and comprises a magnetic material.
