摘要:
The present invention relates to a genetically engineered P30 antigen and a combination or mixture of antigens (e.g., the genetically engineered P30 antigen and P35) that may be used in the detection of IgM and/or IgG antibodies to Toxoplasma gondii. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to methods of using this genetically engineered P30 antigen and combination of antigens, antibodies raised against this genetically engineered P30 antigen and combination of antigens, as well as kits and vaccines containing the genetically engineered P30 antigen and antigens present in the combination.
摘要:
Isolated nucleic acid molecules encoding coccidian casein kinase I, CKI, enzymes from the species Eimeria tenella and Toxoplasma gondii are disclosed. The isolation of these coccidian CKI cDNA sequences results in the disclosure of purified forms of E. tenella and T. gondii CKI proteins, recombinant vectors and recombinant hosts which express coccidian CKI.
摘要:
The present invention relates to immunogenic Toxoplasma gondii proteins, to T. gondii nucleic acid molecules, including those that encode such proteins and to antibodies raised against such proteins. The present invention also includes methods to obtain such proteins, nucleic acid molecules and antibodies. Also included in the present invention are compositions comprising such proteins, nucleic acid molecules and/or antibodies, as well as the use of such compositions to inhibit oocyst shedding by cats due to infection with T. gondii. The present invention also includes the use of certain T. gondii-based antisera to identify such nucleic acid molecules and proteins, as well as nucleic acid molecules and proteins identified by such methods. The present invention also relates to novel methods for the detection of cysts and oocysts.
摘要:
The present invention relates to fusion proteins: suitable as test antigens in the detection of infections with pathogens, particularly of primary infections with pathogens. Further, the invention relates to methods for detecting and differentially determining antibodies, particularly IgM antibodies resulting from an infection with a pathogenic organism. Furthermore, test reagents for carrying out these methods are provided.
摘要:
The invention provides profilin-related immunomodulatory polypeptides and toll-like receptor agonists, as well as related pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treatment, useful for treating cancer and infectious disease.
摘要:
The invention described herein relates to a method for identifying antigen fragments of Toxoplasma gondii proteins, and their use as diagnostic and immunogenic agents. Said method is implemented by means of selection of DNA fragments libraries of the parasite with sera of subjects who have been infected, using the phage display technique, and is characterised in that it uses the expression/exposure vector λKM4. The method allows also to identify antigen fragments related to the time of the infection.

The present invention provides a reagent for the detection or monitoring of a Toxoplasma gondii infection, which includes as a reactive substance a truncated Toxoplasma gondii P30 protein in which all of the hydrophobic C-terminal region of the native protein starting with the amino acid positioned after the amino acid 299 (SEQ ID NO: 1) has been deleted and all of the region of the native protein having the sequence starting with amino acid 31 and ending with the amino acid 299 (SEQ ID NO: 1) is contained. The present invention further describes methods of screening for anti-Toxoplasma antibodies in a biological sample
