    摘要: A rigid polyurethane foam includes the reaction product of an isocyanate and an isocyanate reactive component in the presence of a blowing agent. The isocyanate reactive component includes an aromatic polyester polyol, a rigid polyol, and an aliphatic polyester polyol. The rigid polyurethane foam has a tensile adhesion of greater than 35 kPa (5 psi) when disposed on a metal substrate or a polyester, polyurethane, or epoxy coated metal substrate, each having a substrate temperature of greater than 41° C. (105° F.), and tested in accordance with ASTM D1623-09. A method of forming a composite article comprising a substrate and the rigid polyurethane foam includes the steps of combining the isocyanate reactive component and the isocyanate in the presence of the blowing agent to form a reaction mixture and applying the reaction mixture to the substrate having a substrate temperature of greater than 41° C. (105° F.) to form the composite article.

    摘要: Polyol component essentially consists of polyesterpolyetherpolyol containing polyesterpolyol by the weight ratio of 100:0 to 20:80, in which the polyesterpolyetherpolyol is a copolymer of polytetramethyleneglycol (PTMG) and .epsilon.-caprolactone by the weight ratio of 20:80 to 80:20 with an average molecular weight of 1000 to 3000 and the polyesterpolyol is a condensate of adipic acid as a main acid component with an average molecular weight of 1000 to 3000, is reacted with isocyanate component essentially consists of 4,4'-diphenylmethanediisocyanate (MDI) to make a prepolymer with terminal radical of NCO.Microcellular polyurethane produced from the prepolymer by foaming and polymerization reaction has the durability for vibration-proof material of car use, combining the advantage of PTMG such as high initial modulus at elongation, low heat built up, low-temperature property and hydrolysis-durability under high humid and hot conditions, with the advantage of polycaprolactone such as good molding property and anti-bending-fatigue property, as well as making up for the disadvantage of both polyols each other. Thus improving the problems of microcellular polyurethane using MDI such as low initial modulus at elongation and high heat built up.

    摘要: Rigid urethane foams made from polyester polyols and processes for producing them are provided. The foams are made by reacting a mixture that comprises an aromatic polyester polyol having an average functionality of about 3.0 or less, a hydroxyl number above 100 mg/KOH/g, and an average molecular weight less than 3000; from about 1 weight percent to about 30 weight percent of a saccharide; a blowing agent; and an isocyanate, and said foams having an isocyanate index from about 0.8 to about 3.0. The foams have a high closed cell content and a high free rise compressive strength and slightly lower thermal resistance than expected for their density.
