摘要： Porous aromatic framework polymers functionalized with Brønsted acid moieties are prepared by polymerization of a three-dimensional organic aryl or heteroaryl monomer and its copolymerization with a second aryl or heteroaryl monomer functionalized with one or more Brønsted acid moiety. The polymers are characterized by a stable three-dimensional structure, which, in exemplary embodiments, includes interpenetrating subunits within one or more domain of the bulk polymer structure. The polymers are of use in methods of adsorbing ammonia and amines and in devices and systems configured for this purpose.

摘要： Described herein, inter alia, are compositions of cell penetrating high density brush peptide polymer, drug delivery vehicles for delivering cell penetrating peptides and drugs. Also provided is a methodology for protecting active peptides from proteolysis by packaging them into high-density brush polymers via ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP), using an easily-prepared catalyst initiator. The graft-through polymerization of norbomyl-peptide monomers via ROMP can result in structures that resist proteolysis relative to their monomeric analogues in a manner dependent on their degree of polymerization (REFS). Polymerized peptides, while protected from proteolysis, maintain their intended biological function and are capable of any of the functions inherent to the peptide, such as binding a receptor or ligand, initiating a signaling pathway, penetrating a cell, or inducing a therapeutic effect.

摘要： The present invention relates conductive nanostructured copolymer materials, such as thin film. In particular, the nanostructured copolymer material comprises plurality of chains substantially parallel to each other, each conductive chain comprising a plurality of conductive polyacetylene polymer blocks positioned along the chain and a plurality of polar poly(vinyl alcohol) polymer blocks in between the polyacetylene polymer blocks to form a pattern of alternatively repeating polyacetylene polymer blocks and poly(vinyl alcohol) polymer blocks and a ratio of polyacetylene polymer to poly(vinyl alcohol) polymer to provide the nanostructured copolymer material with conductivity of at least 1 S/cm. In some aspects, the invention relates to photoelectric devices comprising a nanostructured copolymer material and capable to convert light to electrical current.
