    摘要: A method of manufacturing nitrile rubber latex medical examination gloves during which (a) the glove formers are dipped into a coagulant solution containing divalent calcium cations and calcium nitrate particles, to which has been added a composition comprising Alcohol ethoxylate, Amine oxide, Ethylenediaminetetracetic acid, Glutaraldehyde, Chlorhexidine di-gluconate, Chlorhexidine di-hydrochloride, Salisept, Titanium Dioxide, nano particle silver; and during which (b) the coated glove formers are then dipped into a nitrile rubber latex dispersion to which has been added a composition comprising Alcohol ethoxylate, Amine oxide, Lactic acid, Ethylenedi-aminetetracetic acid, Glutaraldehyde, Salisept; and during which (c) the nitrile rubber latex gloves are finally placed in to packaging utilising a clear coat varnish that it is impregnated with a phenolic chlorine compound, micronised nanosilver colloid, and a quaternary compound.

    摘要: The present invention provides rubber sealing members having an exterior surface adapted to sealingly engage an inner surface of a chamber of the medical device, the exterior surface of the sealing member having a coating thereon prepared from a curable composition including: (a) a first organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups; and (b) a second organopolysiloxane having at least two pendant hydrogen groups, the second organopolysiloxane being different from the first organopolysiloxane, wherein at least one of the first organopolysiloxane, the second organopolysiloxane or an optional third organopolysiloxane of the curable composition comprises a fluoro group.

    摘要: A pharmaceutical/medical rubber compound contains the following components: (A) a composition obtainable by crosslinking (a) 100 parts by weight of an isobutylene polymer having terminal alkenyl groups with (d) a hydrosilyl-containing compound in the presence of (b) from 5 to 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin and (c) from 5 to 100 parts by weight of polybutene during melt kneading, and (B) an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene powder. Compared with conventional thermoplastic elastomers, the pharmaceutical/medical rubber compound and its molded article are free from deformations and have sufficient permanent set resistance even under high temperature conditions, have excellent mechanical properties, low water absorption property, low reactivity and superb gas barrier properties, and can withstand high-temperature sterilization.

Preferably, the article is a glove or condom further comprising a layer of hydrogel.
