    摘要: The invention relates to a primer, comprising a mixture dissolved or dispersed in one or more solvents, the mixture composed of a copolymer obtained through copolymerization, preferably free-radical copolymerization, of vinylcaprolactam and/or vinylpyrrolidone, and one or more of the following monomers: a) an acrylic acid ester of a linear primary alcohol containing 2 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl group of the alcohol, b) an acrylic acid ester of a branched, non-cyclic alcohol having 4 to 12 carbon atoms in the alkyl group of the alcohol, c) acrylic acid, one or more organofunctional silanes. Such primer provides reliable and excellent adhesion between pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes and hydrophilic surfaces, in particular glass. The adhesion-promoting effect is retained even when the primer additionally contains functional fillers.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive, which has excellent adhesiveness to an adherend having surface polarity of every kind and can exhibit excellent repulsion resistance even in a moist heat environment, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet using the composition. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition provided by the present invention contains a copolymerization reaction product of a monomer mixture. The monomer mixture contains an alkyl (meth)acrylate having an alkyl group with a carbon number of from 4 to 20 and N-vinylcaprolactam. The total sum amount thereof is 95% by mass or more of the whole of monomer components. An amount of N-vinylcaprolactam is from 12 to 40% by mass.

    摘要: A composition of 1 to 3 parts by weight of a water-soluble polymer of vinyl pyrrolidone or vinyl-alkyl-pyrrolidone or of a co-polymer of a mixture of monomers containing at least 20% by weight of said vinyl pyrrolidones contains 1 part by weight of wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each hydrogen or an alkyl radical of 1-9 carbon atoms, the carbon atoms in all the alkyl radicals totalling 4 to 18. Substituted N - vinyl - 2 - pyrrolidones mentioned are 3-methyl-, 4-methyl, 3,3-dimethyl, 4-ethyl, 5-methyl, 5-ethyl. Monomers suitable for making copolymers are allyl alcohol, diallyl phthalate, isobutyl vinyl ether, maleic anhydride, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, acrylic acid, vinyl laurate, vinyl stearate. A number of specific monomer combinations are listed. Many suitable phenols are mentioned. The mixtures of polymer and phenol are sometimes soluble in solvents which do not dissolve the polymer alone, e.g. hydrocarbons, ketones, halogenated hydrocarbons or dioxane. In examples: (1) a film with adhesive properties when wet is formed from an alcohol solution of polyvinyl-pyrrolidone and nonyl phenol; (2) to (6) are similar, employing dinonyl phenol; (7) employs nonyl phenol to make a film of laminating adhesive; (8), (9) and (10) use dioctyl phenol; and (11) diisobutyl phenol; (12) uses mixed polyvinylpyrrolidone of different mol. weights; (13) is similar to (7) but uses (a) dinonyl phenol, (b) dioctyl phenol, (c) octyl phenol, (d) hexyl phenol, (e) diisobutyl phenol, and (f) p-isoamyl phenol; (14) and (15) are similar to (7) using a variety of phenols in coatings for metals or for polythene paper laminates; (16) describes an ink containing polyvinylpyrrolidone, nonyl phenol, xylene, Rhodamine or Rubine, and cobalt naphthenate. A number of other examples are given in which solutions of polymers or copolymers of vinyl pyrrolidone or its deviations are incorporated with waxes, e.g. carnauba, candellilla or beeswax, siloxanes, or plasticizers, e.g. dioctyl phthalate, butanediol, or glycol. The compositions may also be mixed with other resins, e.g. polythene, epoxy resins, polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl methyl ether. Fillers, e.g. carbon or silica may also be incorporated. Thus in Example (24) a pigmented sheet is produced from polyvinylpyrrolidone, dinonyl phenol, carbon black and polyethylene. In Example (27), resistors for printed circuits are produced from a composition containing epoxy resin, polyvinylpyrrolidone, dinonyl phenol, carbon black and diethylenetriamine. The compositions are used for coatings on metal, glass, wood, paper, polyethylene, &c., as inks, as adhesives, e.g. for laminating, as plasticizers, e.g. for polyethylene, or for sizing siliceous materials, e.g. glass fibres.
