    摘要: A process for converting lignocellulosic feedstock includes providing a lignocellulosic feedstock into a first inlet of a first reactor at a first end, and providing a hot feedstock into a second inlet of the first reactor at a second end of the first reactor. The process includes heating and reacting the lignocellulosic feedstock with the hot feedstock and outputting a first product stream from a first product outlet of the first reactor. The first product stream is an alkane rich product stream. A reactor system includes a first reactor having a first inlet at a first end, a second inlet at a second end and at least one product outlet. The first reactor is configured to receive a lignocellulosic feedstock at the first inlet and a hot feedstock at the second inlet. The system includes a second reactor having a first inlet downstream from the at least one product outlet.

    摘要: A processor for vacuum distillation of whole tires including: an insulated housing having a door on one end, a central radiant heat tube and a plurality of peripheral heat tubes spaced about the central radiant heat tube and arranged with an inlet leg of each peripheral heat tube adjacent an outlet leg of another peripheral heat tube to maximize utilization of the radiant heat energy from the peripheral heat tubes. The central radiant heat tube has an unsupported end adjacent the door such that the tires loaded through door will pass over the central radiant heat tube and such that the central radiant heat tube is in a central opening of each tire.

    摘要: A process for the recovery of coal particles from coal tailings is described. The process comprises the steps of initially treating the coal tailings to separate therefrom a proportion of the coal particles having sizes in a specified range, and then subjecting the coal particles to a heat treatment process. In one embodiment, the separated coal particles can undergo an agglomeration in oil prior to the heat treatment. The process provides a further means of recovering coal particles of certain sizes from slurries.

    摘要: In a coking process wherein coal is subjected to coking in chamber furnaces by means of combustion of a fuel gas in the heat flues of the furnace and transfer of the generated heat through the walls of the furnace, the heat supply is effected, during the entire course of the coking operation, according to a preestablished programmed control scheme related to a uniform or mean rate of heat supply, the supply of heat being at a maximum at the commencement of the coking operation and being gradually reduced during the continuing coking operation.
