摘要: A method of manufacturing an elevator includes installing a movable supporting platform and an elevator car in the elevator hoistway; taking the elevator car into use to serve passengers and/or to transport goods; removing the elevator car from use; changing the service range of the elevator car to reach higher up in the elevator hoistway by lifting the supporting platform higher up in the elevator hoistway; and taking the elevator car back into use. The elevator is reeved to include construction-time hoisting roping, which includes one or more ropes, the longitudinal power transmission capacity of which is based at least essentially on non-metallic fibers in the longitudinal direction of the rope. In the method, guide rails to be fixed with guide rail brackets can additionally be installed by the aid of an installation device. An elevator arrangement can be used to perform the method.

摘要: Device for use in an agricultural livestock feed gripping jaw, including a drivable cable and a frame with a guide element, in particular a winding drum or a disc which is rotatable in the frame, around which guide element said cable is passed in such a way that when the cable is driven, the cable is guided over the guide element, wherein the cable comprises a core and a sheath, wherein the core comprises a plurality of first strands of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethene fibres, in particular Dyneema® or an equivalent thereof, and includes a plurality of second strands of fibres of a polyester which are interwoven with the former, wherein the sheath includes a combination of a plurality of interwoven strands, containing 75-100% of third strands of fibres of extended polyamide, in particular Nylon 6,6, and 0-25% of fourth strands of fibres of polyester, and wherein the guide element, at least on the outer side thereof, inlcudes ultrahigh molecular weight polyethene, in particular HMPE 1000. This combination of measures makes a compact and reliable construction possible which is less affected by mechanical and in particular chemical wear when used with livestock feed.

摘要: A woven rope an inner portion comprising a plurality of multifilament fibers in the length direction of the woven rope and a jacket portion covering the inner portion. The jacket portion contains a plurality of monofilament fibers in the length direction of the woven rope and at least one multifilament fiber in the circumferential direction interwoven with the monofilament fibers in the length direction of the jacket portion. The monofilament fibers of the jacket portion form the majority of the outer surface of the woven rope.

摘要: Hybrid rope (20) comprising a core element (22) containing high modulus fibers surrounded by at least one outer layer (24) containing wirelike metallic members (26). The core element (22) is coated (23) with a thermoplastic polyurethane or a copolyester elastomer, preferably the copolyester elastomer containing soft blocks in the range of 10 to 70 wt %. The coated material (23) on the inner core element (22) is inhibited to be pressed out in-between the wirelike members (26) of the hybrid rope (20) and the hybrid rope (20) has decreased elongation and diameter reduction after being in use.

The rope includes a load-bearing part made of a composite material, said composite material comprising non-metallic reinforcing fibers, which include carbon fiber or glass fiber, in a polymer matrix. An elevator includes a drive sheave, an elevator car and a rope system for moving the elevator car by means of the drive sheave. The rope system includes at least one rope that has a width that is larger than a thickness thereof in a transverse direction of the rope. The rope includes a load-bearing part made of a composite material. The composite material includes reinforcing fibers in a polymer matrix.
