摘要: The disclosure relates to a tappet for acting on a pump piston of a high-pressure fuel pump of an internal combustion engine. The tappet includes a tubular housing, and at the upper annular end face of the tubular housing, two surfaces which are indented relative to the outer casing of the housing and comprise a pin that supports a cam roller, lie diametrically opposite each other. An upper end face of a transverse beam lies against axial inner end faces of the two surfaces. A transverse beam lower end face, which faces a lower annular end face of the housing, is provided with a pin, which protrudes from the housing and is surrounded by a spring plate supported against the inner casing of the housing. A sleeve-like inner collar of the spring plate guides the unstepped pin.

The distributor apparatus includes a rotary distributor cam provided with a single distributor lobe for orbiting in the circular pattern and for moving the valve plungers in succession from a non-distributing to a stationary distributing position. The cam lobe has a planar face for holding the valve plungers in the distributing position throughout the entire delivery stroke of a pump unit plunger metering and pumping fuel to the distributor apparatus.

摘要: A diesel engine comprises a combustion-temperature control device for adjusting a combustion temperature of the engine depending on an engine operating condition, and an ignition-delay-duration control device for adjusting an ignition delay duration depending on the engine operating condition. An engine-temperature sensor is provided for detecting an engine temperature. During cold-engine warm-up period, an electronic control unit effectively compensates for both the combustion temperature and the ignition delay duration depending on the engine temperature, to reconcile the slow initial combustion in the early combustion stage and the sharp combustion in the middle or later combustion stage and so as to realize a so-called low-temperature premixed combustion with an increased rate of premixed combustion to diffusion combustion under a condition of low combustion temperatures.

摘要: A fuel injection pump having a fixed pump body with a pumping chamber having a plurality of plunger bores, a plunger mounted in each plunger bore for reciprocation, a cam rotatable for reciprocating the plungers to periodically supply an intake charge of fuel to the pumping chamber and deliver a high pressure charge of fuel from the pumping chamber for fuel injection and to sequentially position the plungers in distributor valve positions thereof to deliver the high pressure charges of fuel, via distributor ports in the plunger bores, to a plurality of distributor outlets. In one version of the pump, the plunger bores are angularly spaced about and extend radially inwardly to a central coaxial bore, the rotary cam is an annular cam which actuates the plungers inwardly to deliver the high pressure charges of fuel, and a poppet valve is mounted in the central coaxial bore to supply fuel to and spill fuel from the pumping chamber. A pressure regulator has a fuel inlet opening in axial alignment with the poppet valve and which is closed by the poppet valve in its open position to increase the rate of fuel supply to the pumping chamber.

摘要: The invention relates to a distribution and control valve in a fuel injection engine pump especially for a large multi-cylinder diesel engine, in which the fuel is injected into the cylinder by mdans of two or more injection valves (A;B). The pump includes a pump cylinder (1) and, inside thereof in a pump chamber (2), a reciprocatingly movable piston member (4), which is arranged through its movement to feed fuel via distribution ducts to the injection valves of the cylinder in question. The pump cylinder (1) is provided with an extra chamber (11) connected to the pump chamber (2), to which extra chamber there is tightly adapted a long-shaped valve member (12) following the movements of the piston member in the axial direction thereof, and inside the valve member (12) there is a fuel duct (13) connected to the pump chamber (2). The feed ducts (16;5a,5b) of the separate valves are connected to the extra chamber (11) in the axial direction of the valve member (12) to different points distant from each other. The valve member (12) is provided with control and feeding means to direct fuel in a desired way from the pump chamber (2) to the feed ducts (16; 5a, 5b) of each injection valve (A;B).

摘要: A fuel pumping apparatus for supplying fuel to a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine includes a high pressure pump which supplies fuel in timed relationship with the engine. The fuel is distributed to fuel outlets in turn by means of an axially movable distributor member which has a groove connected to the high pressure pump and which can register with ports connected to the fuel outlets respectively. The distributor member is actuated by a lever means mounting rollers which engage cam profiles on a cup-shaped cam. The cam profiles are arranged such that the groove dwells at each port during the time fuel flows through the groove and port.
