Abstract: A high-pressure plunger pump includes a plunger assembly having a working chamber and a plunger positioned in the working chamber that is movable in an axial direction, as we as first and second control valves connected to a valve housing having at least one high-pressure line and at least one low-pressure line, which are respectively connected to the working chamber by first and second control valves. The valve housing having a high-pressure connection that opens into the high-pressure line. The first and second control valves are actuable by a control unit in such a way that a fluid, which is fed via the high-pressure connection of the valve housing and is under high pressure, is fed to the working chamber and is dischargeable via a low-pressure connection of the suction valve after driving the plunger. The plunger is coupled to a generator via a driveshaft.

Abstract: A high pressure pump. The pump comprises a fluid end assembly supported on a power end assembly. The power end assembly is modular and held together by a first set of stay rods. The fluid end assembly comprises a plurality of fluid end sections positioned in a side-by-side relationship. Each fluid end section comprises a housing made of multiple-piece construction. One or more pieces of the housing are configured to having a second set of stay rods attached thereto. The second set of stay rods interconnect the fluid end assembly and a power end assembly and a vertically offset from the first set of stay rods.

Abstract: Systems and methods to enhance the flow of fracturing fluid into a wellhead during a high-pressure fracturing operation may include providing a pump frame and a crankshaft. A plurality of first plungers may be connected to the crankshaft and may reciprocate in a first plane. The hydraulic fracturing pump also may include a plurality of second plungers connected to the crankshaft and positioned to reciprocate in a second plane. The first plane and the second plane may define a non-zero offset angle between the first plane and the second plane. The crankshaft may include a plurality of crankpins, and each of the crankpins may be connected to one of the first plungers and one of the second plungers. The first plungers may pump a first fracturing fluid and the second plungers may pump a second fracturing fluid different from the first fracturing fluid.

Abstract: A fluid routing plug for use with a fluid end section. The fluid end section being one of a plurality of fluid end sections making up a fluid end side of a high pressure pump. The fluid routing plug is installed within a horizontal bore formed in a fluid end section and is configured to route fluid between an intake and discharge bore. The fluid routing plug comprises a plurality of first and second fluid passages. The first and second passages do not intersect and are offset from one another. The first fluid passages are configured to direct fluid delivered to the horizontal bore from intake bores towards a reciprocating plunger. The second fluid passages are configured to direct fluid pressurized by the plunger towards a discharge bore.

Abstract: The proposed method includes an initial checking step, during which a pump of a filtering circuit is operated at a given checking operation frequency meanwhile a pump checking operation value is measured, and using the measured data a calculation of the water flow rate when pump operates at a given operation frequency lower than the given checking operation frequency is performed. The pump is then operated at said given operation frequency for a first filtering period of time. When said period is concluded the checking step, at checking frequency, is newly performed obtaining a new checking operation value, and this value is used to calculate a required operation frequency necessary to produce a flow rate equal to the initially calculated flow rate, and the pump is operated at said new calculated operation frequency for a second filtering period of time.

Abstract: A system for flameless heating of a fluid includes a hydraulic pump having an input shaft and a rotational power source coupled in torque-transmitting relationship with the input shaft of the hydraulic pump. A hydraulic fluid circuit is in fluid connection with an inlet port and an outlet port of the hydraulic pump. A water heat exchanger having a tank provided with water from a water source and a conduit provided with heated fluid from at least one of the hydraulic pump and the power source is arranged such that heat is transferred from the heated fluid in the conduit to the water in the tank. In one example, at least one valve in the hydraulic fluid circuit selectively limits output flow from the outlet port of the hydraulic pump, thereby providing resistance to pumping motion and heating the hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic pump.
