Abstract: A scroll compressor including a compression mechanism assembled with a valve assembly disposed in a housing. The compression mechanism including a fixed scroll and an orbit scroll. The fixed scroll includes a recessed pocket having a first indentation with a first injection port and a second indentation with a second injection port. A double reed structure of the valve assembly is disposed in the recessed pocket of the fixed scroll. The double reed structure includes a first reed configured to selectively permit a flow of a fluid through the first injection port and a second reed configured to selectively permit a flow of a fluid through the second injection port. The valve assembly further includes a valve member disposed adjacent the reed structure and a valve gasket disposed between the valve member and a portion of the housing.

Abstract: A motor drive control device has a control circuit that generates a drive control signal for controlling a rotational speed of a motor based on a speed command signal indicating a target rotational speed of the motor, and a motor driving unit that drives the motor based on the drive control signal. Abstract: A centrifugal blower includes an outer rotor, and a turbo fan. The turbo fan includes blades, an other end plate, and a cylinder portion. The cylinder portion is located inside the other end plate, and is fixed to the outer rotor. A surface of the outer rotor configures a rotor guide surface that guides an air flow toward a channel provided between adjacent blades. Each blade has a leading edge side portion located radially inside the cylinder portion. An outer end portion of the rotor guide surface in the radial direction is located at the same position in the axial direction as a one side cylinder end portion of the cylinder portion in the axial direction, in a state where a rotor contact portion of the outer rotor and a blade contact portion of the leading edge side portion are in contact with each other.

Abstract: A method for reducing noise produced by well operations includes obtaining a list of equipment performing the well operations in an open-air environment. The method further includes obtaining a mapping between engine rotations-per-minute (“RPM”), load, and noise produced by a combination of the equipment. The method further includes selecting a set point comprising gear number and engine speed, respectively for each engine, that minimizes the noise produced for the combination of the equipment based on the mapping. The method further includes adjusting each engine driving the well operations to operate at the respective set point.

Abstract: A fan includes an impeller including a boss serving as a center of rotation and a plurality of blades provided on an outer circumferential surface of the boss, and a structure member installed on an upstream side of the impeller in an airflow direction. The plurality of blades each have a plurality of recesses disposed only on a side of a suction surface of a leading edge. The plurality of recesses each have a rectangular shape having two longitudinal sides. Consequently, it is possible to reduce fluctuations of lift on the plurality of blades and thereby reduce discrete frequency noise.

Abstract: A fan main body member of a turbofan has multiple blades disposed around a fan axial center, a shroud ring coupled to each of the blades, and a fan hub portion coupled to each of the blades on a side opposite from the shroud ring. An other end side plate of the turbofan is joined to each of the other side blade end portions of the blade in a state of being fitted to the radially outer side of the fan hub portion. A fitting gap between the other end side plate and the fan hub portion is formed such that an outflow velocity of air when air passes through the fitting gap and outflows is reduced as compared to when air passes through a virtual reference gap that corresponds to the fitting gap and outflows.

Abstract: An impeller may include a hub section, a plurality of blades, and a shroud. The hub section may be mounted on a rotatable shaft. The hub section may define a central opening for the rotatable shaft to extend therethrough and may define a plurality of holes disposed in a circular manner about the central opening.
