    摘要： A device for operatively connecting an engine starter to an engine where the engine includes an engine crankshaft and the engine starter has a starter shaft with a length and a worm, or worm screw, of a worm drive spaced radially from the starter adapter shaft and within the length of the shaft is described herein. The device compromises a worm gear assembly as operatively attached to the starter adapter shaft. The a worm gear assembly includes a worm gear, or worm wheel, positioned to engage the worm and an overrunning clutch positioned radially between the worm gear and the starter adapter shaft and operatively engaging the starter adapter shaft.

    摘要： A selector bracket assembly for a one way clutch assembly comprising an annular body portion having: first and second radial surfaces; an inner circumferential surface, connecting the first and second radial surfaces; at least one cutout portion; at least one axially extending post adjacent to the at least one cutout portion; and, an outer circumferential surface including a plurality of radially outward extending tabs; and, at least one actuator pin disposed radially outward of the inner circumferential surface and arranged for engagement with the selector bracket assembly to lock a one way clutch. A switchable one way clutch assembly having said selector bracket, or at least two selector brackets for making selectable the following states: free wheel or locked in both the first and second opposing circumferential directions; locked in first and free wheel in second circumferential direction; and, free wheel in first and locked in second circumferential direction.

The member includes a first coupling face oriented to face axially along a rotational axis and has a set of locking formations angularly-spaced about the axis. The member also includes a second coupling face having a reverse pocket which receives a reverse locking element. The pocket defines a first load-bearing surface adapted for abutting engagement with a load-bearing surface of the reverse locking element. The second coupling face is oriented to face radially with respect to the axis. Each of the set of locking formations defines a second load-bearing surface adapted for abutting engagement with a load-bearing surface of a forward locking element.
