A fluid feed device being designed to feed the fluid to the shaft arrangement radially from outside. The component is a shaft sealing ring, which rests on the shaft and which is fixed to a housing. A baffle plate, which with the shaft sealing ring defines a fluid baffle chamber and which is separated by an annular gap from the outer circumference of the shaft, is arranged axially next to the shaft sealing ring. The fluid feed device is arranged so that fluid is fed into the fluid baffle chamber.

The lubricating system includes a rotating member, a bearing, a scraping member, and a guiding section. The rotating member is configured and arranged to be rotatably housed within the case and to slidably engage the lip portion of the oil-seal member. The bearing rotatably supports the rotating member. The scraping member is configured and arranged to scrape the lubricating oil discharged from the bearing. The guiding section is configured and arranged to guide the lubricating oil scraped by the scraping member to the lip portion of the oil-seal member.

    摘要: A transmission comprising a housing having one and the other longitudinal end walls. An input shaft is rotatably supported by a bearing in the one longitudinal end wall. A bearing retainer having therein an opening through which the input shaft extends is mounted on the outer surface of the one longitudinal end wall and cooperates with the bearing to define a chamber. A seal member is disposed between the opening and the input shaft within the chamber. An oil receiver is disposed within the housing adjacent to an input gear mounted on the input shaft and in mesh with a counter gear mounted on a counter shaft. Lubricating oil within a reservoir at the bottom of the housing is scooped up by the counter gear and is received by the receiver. The oil is introduced through a passage from the receiver into the chamber to lubricate the bearing and the seal member.

    摘要: The invention relates to an escalator or moving walkway that includes a drive shaft rotating at a relatively low peripheral speed around a horizontal axis and at least one sealing element associated with the drive shaft. Lubricant is supplied to the drive shaft and can escape from leakages at the one sealing element. A device is provided for a permanent recirculation of the lubricant escaping from the leakages. The device includes at least one conveyor element arranged downstream of the sealing element, seen in the direction of the leakage, and at least one recirculation element for the lubricant. The recirculation element cooperates with the conveyor element to return the lubricant into a region upstream of the at least one sealing element.

    摘要: In a final drive and differential unit comprising a ring gear integral with a differential gear unit rotatably mounted within a carrier, and a drive pinion shaft supported by a pair of axially spaced bearings within a cylindrical support structure of the carrier, the shaft extends outwardly through an oil seal member mounted within an outer end portion of the support structure and is provided at its inner end with a drive pinion in mesh with the ring gear. The support structure is formed at one side thereof with an enlarged portion formed therein with an oil supply passage opening at its one end into the carrier at the same side as the ring gear and is formed at the other side thereof with another enlarged portion formed therein with an oil return passage opening at its opposite ends into the carrier and into a first annular space between the oil seal member and the bearing. The support structure is formed in its side wall with first and second lateral holes respectively for communication between the oil supply passage and a second annular space between the bearings and for communication between the oil supply passage and the first annular space. The lowermost edge of the second lateral hole is positioned below the lowermost edge of the first lateral hole to ensure the flow of lubricating oil into the first annular space passing across the second lateral hole.
