    摘要: A lighting device that is designed for vehicles and that comprises a first light emitting unit for generating a first light function and a second light emitting unit for generating a second light function. The second light emitting unit has a flat light guide having a narrow side at the light input face for coupling light into the flat light guide, as well as opposing flat sides. The flat light guide has a rear flat side, which is arranged rearwards seen in the main direction of emission, and a front flat side, which is arranged forwards seen in the main direction of emission. Output elements and/or a reflecting face are associated with the rear flat side of the flat light guide in a light output section of said flat light guide. The flat light guide comprises a light passage section, in which no output elements and no reflecting face are associated with the rear flat side. The reflecting face in the light output section of the flat light guide is integrally molded on the rear flat side of said flat light guide.

    摘要: A L.E.D. light assembly having a refractive lens having a front surface and a rear surface. A plurality of horizontal rows of pillow lens modules are formed on the rear surface of the refractive lens. The respective edges of the pillow lens modules coincide with adjacent pillow block lens modules to form both vertical and horizontal intersection lines. A plurality of vertically oriented convex or concave flute strips are formed on the front surface of the refractive lens in the front surface of these respective vertical intersection lines. A plurality of L.E.D.'s are mounted on a printed circuit board spaced a predetermined distance behind the rear surface of the refractive lens. There is one L.E.D. for every pillow lens module. Vertical oriented planar strips are formed on the front surface of the refractive lens intermediate each of the vertically oriented convex or concave flute strips. The combined effect of the different structures forming the refractive lens is to produce light emitted from the front surface of the refractive lens that has a solid look with no dark spots being projected forwardly from the L.E.D. assembly.

    摘要: Disclosed is a lighting unit of an indirect type, capable of varying the luminance and color of illumination with respect to a target to be lit thereby ensuring an effective display of the target, and further capable of using itself as a display unit. The lighting unit comprises a light guide plate having one side fashioned into an uneven surface or a reflective surface; a plurality of light emitting diodes for supplying a light to the light guide plate, the light derived from the diodes being dispersed through the light guide plate; and a control section which controls actions including blinking of the light emitting diodes. At least a part of the diodes is intended to emit a light different in color from that of the others so that the color or blinking of illumination can be arbitrarily varied through the control by means of the control section.
