A plurality of steering coils (22-22) are arranged around the primary coil. A control circuit (24) changes the magnetic field phase pattern of the steering coils relative to the phase of magnetic field of the primary coil in a selected sequence until the maximum power transfer between the primary coil and the secondary coil is determined. Charging of the target device is continued with the maximum power transfer steering coil phase pattern.

    摘要: Described herein are rotary transformers for coupling signals between components that rotate relative to one another. In an exemplary embodiment, a rotary transformer comprises a rotary shaft, a first magnetic core on the rotary shaft, and a first winding wound around the first magnetic core. The rotary transformer farther comprises a hollow second magnetic core, and a second winding wound along the inner wall of the second magnetic core. During operation, the first winding on the rotary shaft rotates within the second winding with the magnetic cores magnetically coupling signals between the two windings. Also, the first and second windings are closely spaced to provide capacitive coupling between the windings that extends the frequency response of the transformer. In one embodiment, the windings comprises substantially flat conductors wound in the shape of the windings. In another embodiment, each of the windings comprises circular loops connected by jogs.

The channel is within the board and contains the multiple liquid droplets. A first liquid droplet has first properties and a second liquid droplet has second properties. When a force is applied upon the first and second liquid droplets, the first liquid droplet changes in accordance with the first properties with respect to the one or more conductive elements and the second liquid droplet changes in accordance with the second properties with respect to the one or more conductive elements thereby changing one or more characteristics of the liquid MEMS component.

    摘要: An adjustable EMI suppression core has an outer core having a first reluctance. The outer core has three apertures aligned horizontally. A first aperture and a third aperture are each suitable for a wire to be placed therein. A second aperture is located between the first and third apertures. An inner core is rotatable engaged in the second aperture, for example, using matching threads on an inner surface of the second aperture and an outer surface on the inner core. The inner core has first and third portions having a second reluctance similar to the first reluctance and a third portion having a reluctance considerably higher than the first and second reluctances. Rotating the inner core varies a normal mode and a common mode suppression of currents in the wires placed in the first and second apertures.
