摘要: A method of mixing microphone signals. First and second microphone signals are obtained from respective first and second microphones. In at least one affected subband, the first and second microphone signals are mixed to produce first and second mixed signals. At least one reference subband of the first and second microphone signals is processed in order to identify a binaural cue between the first and second microphone signals, the reference subband being distinct from the or each affected subband. The affected subband in the first and second mixed signals is modified in order to re-emphasize the identified binaural cue.

摘要: A portable computing device includes one or more microphones that function seamlessly with other components within the portable computing device. In one embodiment, a microphone opening is disposed on a side of the personal computing device and configured to be substantially perpendicular to a user. In another embodiment, two microphones can be disposed on an upper region above a keyboard section and can include a third microphone facing toward a rear portion of the portable computing device. In yet another embodiment, a fixture for providing a bonding pressure to microphones is described.

摘要: Audio signals from microphones of a mobile device are received. Each audio signal is generated by a respective microphone of the microphones. First microphones are selected from among the microphones to generate a front audio signal. Second microphones are selected from among the microphones to generate a back audio signal. A first audio signal portion, which is determined based at least in part on the back audio signal, is removed from the front audio signal to generate a modified front audio signal. A second audio signal portion is removed from the modified front audio signal to generate a left-front audio signal. A third audio signal portion is removed from the modified front audio signal to generate a right-front audio signal.

摘要: A wireless microphone receiver comprises a phase locker to lock a phase of an audio data successfully received from a microphone transmitter; a calculator to calculate a frequency offset between the locked phase of the microphone receiver and the phase of the microphone transmitter; a calibrator to calibrate the frequency offset using a first step if the absolute value of the frequency offset is larger than a first predetermined threshold, and to calibrate the frequency offset with a second step if the absolute value of the frequency offset is smaller than or equal to the first predetermined threshold, and complete the calibration if a calibrated frequency offset is smaller than a second threshold; a buffer to buffer the audio data received from the microphone transmitter, and the calibrator further adjusts the amount of data stored in the buffer; and the microphone receiver further outputs buffered audio data.
