Abstract:
The improved mold assembly for cultured marble molding is provided. The mold assembly can comprise a male mold portion and a female mold portion. The assembly can further comprise a molding tool. The molding tool can have a side wall having an upper curved s and a lower curved portion. The molding tool can be constructed from a flexible and/or soft material. The lower curved portion of the molding tool can be coated with a gel coat having a first color. The molding tool can facilitate molding of a countertop having a recessed bowl portion having a color different from a counter portion of the countertop.
Abstract:
Problem To suppress the distribution of adsorption materials and binders between a heat-transfer member and a heat-transfer member from being disproportioned.SOLUTION TO PROBLEM There is provided a method for preparinq an adsorption device in which activated carbons are held in an area α of accommodating a plurality of heat-transfer members 34 arranged by intervals with each other in a main body part 31. The method includes a filling step (step 102) for filling a slurry filler 45, in which porous particles 41 and binder resins 42 are dispersed in a solvent 46, into the area α, to fill the filler 45 into at least a clearance S between the heat-transfer member 34 and the heat-transfer member 34, an evaporating step (step 103) for heating the main body part 31 in which the filler 45 is filled in the area α in a first-temperature range to evaporate the solvent 46, and a hardening step (step 104) for heating the main body part 31 in which the solvent 46 is evaporated in the evaporating step (step 103) in a second temperature range higher than the first temperature range to harden the binder resins 42.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an integrated liner-based system having an overpack and a liner provided within the overpack, the liner comprising a mouth and a liner wall forming an interior cavity of the liner and having a thickness such that the liner is substantially self-supporting in an expanded state, but is collapsible at a pressure of less than about 20 psi. The liner and overpack may be made by blow molding the liner and the overpack at the same time using nested preforms.

Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a carbon nanotube thin film in which carbon nanotubes exist in a uniformly dispersed state, the thickness and light transmittance of the film can be adjusted easily and are uniform, and high electrical conductivity or high semiconductor properties can be achieved. Carbon nanotubes are mixed with an electrically-non-conductive matrix capable of dispersing the carbon nanotubes satisfactorily therein, such as hydroxypropyl cellulose, to prepare a dense ink that is dispersed in a solvent, the ink is prepared into a film having a uniform thickness employing a doctor blade method or a screen printing method, and subsequently the electrically-non-conductive matrix is removed with a solvent or by a photonic curing method or an oxygen plasma treatment. In this manner, a thin film in which the electrical conductivity or semiconductor properties inherent in carbon nanotubes are recovered can be produced.

A three dimensional mold object manufacturing apparatus configured to manufacture a three dimensional mold object by layering unit layers which are formed using a three dimensional molding composition which includes a three dimensional molding powder, has a molding section configured to mold the three dimensional mold object, and a first layer forming section and a second layer forming section configured to mold form layers, which are configured using the three dimensional molding composition, on the molding section.
Abstract:
A method for producing activated carbon includes heating a phenolic novolac resin carbon precursor at a carbonization temperature effective to form a carbon material, and reacting the carbon material with CO2 at an activation temperature effective to form the activated carbon. The resulting activated carbon can be incorporated into a carbon-based electrode of an EDLC. Such EDLC can exhibit a potential window and thus an attendant operating voltage of greater than 3V.
Abstract:
Material processing systems are disclosed. Some systems include methods of eliminating or reducing defects in elongate workpieces that can undergo large deformations during processing. Some systems include apparatus configured to facilitate such large deformations while maintaining internal stresses (e.g., tensile stresses) below a threshold stress. Some disclosed systems pertain to powder extrusion techniques. Continuous and batch processing systems are disclosed.
