摘要： An apparatus for forming reclosable bags, wherein said bags are formed from a continuously film (12) fitted with at least one closure tape (60), wherein the apparatus comprises a set of heat-sealed jaws (30) provided transversely relative to the travel direction of the film (12), at least one sensor (100) that if the tape (60) is present or not on the film in a predetermined position relative to the heat-sealed jaws, and means suitable to reposition correctly the film in regard of the heat-sealed jaws when the sensor detects a default in the position of the tape, so as to eliminate drift due to the elasticity of the film.

摘要： A continuous tubular box body production method, particularly for cardboard boxes, using a number of stacked longitudinal strips. After sizing the continuously moving straps (2, 3, 4), they are applied lengthwise against a stationary guide (8) ending in a mandrel (10) with a circumference defining the cross-sectional shape of the tubular body (1, 17), whereby each strip has a side flap on either side of the guide which is then folded down around the circumference of the mandrel (1) as the strips move therealong. The method is characterized in that the side flaps (2a, 1b; 3a, 3b; 4a, 4b) are at least partially asymmetrically folded down so that one of the flaps on each strip is folded down before the other, whereby various longitudinal joint configurations and arrangements may be achieved, wherein the joints are arranged above one another or offset in alternate directions.

摘要： A flexible heat-sealable web is shaped continuously into a tubular cross-sectional shape, e.g. as an intermediate stage in the production of infusion bags comprising severed and sealed lengths of the tubular shape. The web is drawn along a shaped shoe and side margins of the web are folded over opposite sides of the shoe by rollers and fingers to place the opposite side edges of the web in overlapping relationship against the shoe. The overlapped edges pass between a roller mounted in the shoe and an external heated roller to be pressed between the two rollers in order to lap weld the edges together as the web travels along the shoe. The shoe continues to form the web downstream of the welding station into a flattened tube.

While doing this, a central force and friction lock is produced between a transporting means and the deformed blank to realize reliable guidance of the already partially bent blank. To further transport the blank, it is contacted at its rear edge in the already completely bent region by two lateral transporting devices and is advanced to a seam forming station, while the opposite longitudinal edges of the blank are brought to an adjoining relationship.

The round tube of material is then drawn down over the former of the invention to change the round tube to a rectangular tube that may be formed into the bag.
