    摘要: A humidity sensor of a sensing unit in a radiosonde of an aerological observation system has a dual cap that surrounds the humidity sensor. The dual cap includes an outer cap having a first ventilation hole formed on top thereof, a first air circulation door formed on the side periphery thereof to pass air therethrough, and a first wall formed on the side periphery thereof to close the flow of air. An inner cap is located inside the outer cap in such a manner as to be fixed to the outer cap and has a second air circulation door formed on the side periphery thereof to pass air therethrough. The second air circulation door faces the first wall of the outer cap.

    摘要: An irreversible humidity exposure dose indicator device, including a housing sealed at a first end thereof and adapted at a second end thereof to admit ambient gas ingress into an interior volume containing chromogenic material. The chromogenic material in contact with water irreversibly absorbs such water to produce a change whose extent is correlative of cumulative exposure of the device to humidity. The device may be configured as an indicator card including an intermediate permeable membrane coated on a first side thereof with a layer of a deliquescent solid and being in contact on a second side thereof with a layer containing a reactive indicator, with a water-permeable layer adjacent to the layer containing the deliquescent coating, enclosed within a water-impermeable transparent enclosure. The device can include an opening to the permeable layer that is shielded by a removable member that is removed to initiate the dosimetric process, and permit water vapor to diffuse through the opening and liquefy the deliquescent material, so that the liquid permeates through the membrane and a visible indication of the location of the wet front is seen as the water contacts the chromogenic material. A scale can be printed on the exterior of the enclosure to permit a viewer to see the progress of the indication, e, g. of a color front.

    摘要: The invention relates to a sensor unit for detecting the wetting of a window. Signals from the condensation sensor are used to control an air conditioning, heating, and/or ventilation unit. The signals of the rain sensor, on the contrary, are used to control a windshield wiper or washing unit for vehicles. A sensor unit, which comprises two sensors, is placed on the interior of the window. In a preferred variant, both are coupled to a common switchable evaluation unit, so that through mutual evaluation of the two sensors or their signals, both incipient condensation on the interior of a vehicle window and the wetting of the exterior, e.g., by rain, is detected. In an improvement of the invention, both sensors are integrated into a sensor module.

The heater includes a first insulating film on the substrate, a conductive film on the first insulating film, and a second insulating film on the conductive film. The first and second insulating films are made of the same material, preferably tantalum oxide (Ta.sub.2 O.sub.5) and are the same thickness. A foundation film is not employed as an adhesive between the first insulating film and the conductive film due to the strong adherence between the first insulating film and the conductive film which is preferably made of platinum or a platinum alloy. Because the first and second insulating films are made of the same material and have the same thicknesses, the insulating films have similar rates of thermal expansion and the expansion or contraction of the insulating films offset each other, thus reducing the thermal stress imposed on the conductive film.
