摘要: The invention relates to a material for storing and releasing oxygen, consisting of a reactive ceramic made of copper, manganese and iron oxides, wherein, subject to the oxygen partial pressure of a surrounding atmosphere and/or an ambient temperature, the reactive ceramic has a transition region that can be passed through any number of times, said transition region being between a discharge threshold state of a three-phase crednerite/cuprite/hausmannite mixed ceramic and a charge threshold state of a two-phase spinel/tenorite mixed ceramic. A passing through of the transition region from the discharge threshold state towards the charging threshold state is associated with oxygen uptake and a passing through of the transition region from the charge threshold state towards the discharge threshold state is associated with oxygen release.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of regenerating a sorbent of gas in a capture process of said gas, wherein the capture process comprises recirculating the sorbent between a gas capturing system and regenerating reactor system, the method comprising the regenerating reactor system performing the steps of: receiving a solid sorbent to be regenerated, wherein the sorbent is a sorbent of carbon dioxide gas; generating heat by combusting a fuel with an oxidising agent in the presence of a catalyst; regenerating the sorbent by using the generated heat to indirectly heat the sorbent so that the sorbent releases carbon dioxide gas; outputting the regenerated sorbent; and outputting the released carbon dioxide gas. Advantages of the gas capture system include a higher efficiency than known techniques.

摘要: The invention relates to an oxygen carrier solid, its preparation and its use in a method of combustion of a hydrocarbon feedstock by active mass chemical-looping oxidation-reduction, i.e. chemical-looping combustion (CLC). The solid, which is hi the form of particles, comprises an oxidation-reduction active mass composed of metal oxide(s) dispersed in a ceramic matrix comprising at least at least one feldspar or feldspathoid with a melting point higher than 1500° C., such as celsian, and has, initially, a specific macroporous texture. The oxygen carrier solid is prepared from a precursor of the ceramic matrix, obtained from a macroporous zeolitic material with zeolite crystals of a specific size, and a precursor of the oxidation-reduction active mass.

摘要: A burner using a high-temperature combustion catalyst is disclosed. The disclosed burner using a high-temperature combustion catalyst comprises: a mixing and dispensing unit for mixing and dispensing fuel gas and air, which are to be supplied; a combustion catalyst unit for generating heat by catalytically combusting with the fuel gas to be supplied from the mixing and dispensing unit; and a premixing chamber for preliminarily mixing a combustion gas which is to enter the combustion catalyst unit while connecting the mixing and dispensing unit and the combustion catalyst unit, wherein the combustion catalyst unit comprises: a front/rear-open housing having a chamber therein; perforated plates provided on the front and rear surfaces of the housing so as to allow the fuel gas to pass through from the rear of the housing to the front thereof; a pellet-type combustion catalyst filled inside of the chamber of the housing; and a heat source means for generating a heat source for the catalytic combustion of the combustion catalyst. The high-temperature combustion catalyst further comprises preparation by the steps of: preparing a metal precursor solution containing a transition metal nitrate, an alkaline earth metal nitrate, and aluminum nitrate; preparing a precipitation solution; preparing a mixture solution by mixing the metal precursor solution and the precipitation solution; increasing the temperature of the mixture solution to 90˜100° C. and maintaining the same for 10˜48 hours so as to cause precipitation; separating a precipitate slurry, which is formed by precipitation, from the mixture solution by filtering the same; washing the precipitate slurry; performing drying in order to remove water contained in the washed precipitate slurry; and performing firing at 1,000˜1,500° C. in order to remove water remaining in the dried precipitate slurry.

摘要: Waste treatment comprises heating it in a chamber to effect pyrolysis of the waste, introducing oxygen into the chamber to effect combustion of the pyrolyzed waste, and contacting off-gas from the pyrolysis and/or combustion steps with an oxidation catalyst to convert carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in the off-gas into carbon dioxide and water and with a reduction catalyst to convert nitrous oxides to nitrogen and oxygen. Thus, domestic waste is treated in a batch process using catalytic converters to reduce the level of toxic components before off-gas reaches the atmosphere.

摘要: The hydrogen combustion catalyst includes a catalyst metal supported on a carrier made of an inorganic oxide, wherein: a functional group having at least one alkyl group with three or less carbon atoms is bonded to a terminal of a hydroxyl group on the carrier surface by substitution; platinum and palladium are supported as the catalyst metal; and a chlorine content is 300 ppm to 2,000 ppm per 1 mass % of the total supported amount of a supported amount of platinum and a supported amount of palladium. The total supported amount of platinum and palladium is preferably 0.1 to 5.0 mass % based on mass of a whole catalyst. In the hydrogen combustion catalyst according to the present invention, when treating a gas that contains iodine and hydrogen, catalyst poisoning by iodine is suppressed.
