    摘要: An integrated circuit includes a power amplifier and a power detector. The power detector has a VDET node and a VREF node. A first filter coupled to the VDET node outputs a signal VDET onto a VDET terminal. A second filter coupled the VREF node outputs a signal VREF onto a VREF terminal. The signals VDET and VREF are generated so that the voltage difference between the two signals varies in proportion to the RF output power magnitude with an accuracy of ±0.1 decibels over a −45° C. to +85° C. temperature range. An amount of the RF signal as output by the power amplifier is coupled onto the VDET node and is detected by a half-wave rectifying RF detector diode. The diode has a capacitance that increases with temperature, so a temperature compensation circuit that has an admittance that decreases with temperature is coupled in parallel with the detector diode.

At least one second measurement element is positioned proximate to the at least one first measurement element and configured to have a characteristic indicative of a stress condition associated with the at least one first measurement element. A compensation circuit is responsive to an output of the at least one second measurement element and to a reference signal to generate a compensation factor that is applied to the initial measurement signal to provide a corrected measurement signal.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for providing a temperature sensing loop used in connection with a current sensing component, such as a BATFET, in order to compensate for variations in the BATFET's resistance due to temperature variations. The temperature sensing loop detects a temperature of the BATFET and regulates the gate voltage of the BATFET based on the detected temperature in order to compensate for changes in the BATFET's resistance. The temperature sensing feedback loop maintains the BATFET at a constant resistance for current sensing through negative feedback control. The BATFET and temperature sensing loop can be provided as components of an on-chip fuel gauging application for a UE.
