摘要： A computer assists in training a user to speak with a target accent by determining improvable aspects of diagnostic input of a user speaking diagnostic phrases with the target accent. The computer selects, a focus phrase characterized by at least one of said improvable aspects. The computer records performance input of the user attempting to say the focus phrase in the target accent. The computer converts the performance input into output having a baseline voice of the and the target accent applied. The computer presents the output and determines teachable aspects of revised performance input from the user replicating the output. The computer converts selected aspects of the revised performance input into augmented teaching output in the user's voice with the target accent applied. The computer presents the augmented teaching output to the user.

摘要： A system includes a container filled with material other than radioactive material. The system also includes a capacitor disposed on the container. The capacitor is disposed over a surface of the container. A power source, e.g., 5 V, is used for powering the capacitor that is connected to the power source through a resistor ranging between 20 and 40 mega ohms. A processor is used and configured to generate a feedback based on a measured charging/discharging associated with the capacitor as a user moves with respect to the container. In one nonlimiting example, the processor is configured to generate a rolling average of the charging/discharging. An output device of the system may be configured to render feedback to the user based on the proximity of the user with respect to the container. In some nonlimiting examples, the output device is configured to render the feedback based on the rolling average.

Each group of individuals is analyzed to generate an expected profile that approximates the physiological and/or psychological traits of the group. An expected profile includes heuristics and/or performance metrics that enable dynamic coaching during workouts. Subsequently thereafter, users can be dynamically coached by their client device, based on the expected profile.

摘要： A computer system analyses audio data representing a user speaking words from a body of text and identifies occasions where the user mispronounces an expected phoneme. Mispronunciation of the expected phoneme is identified by comparison with a phonetic sequence corresponding to the text, based on a predetermined or user-selected language model. The system requires the user to read continuously for a period of time, so that the user cannot hide any tendency they have to pronounce the words of the text either incorrectly or differently to the expected phonemes from the language model. The system operates on the basis of comparing the similarity of the spoken sounds of the user with the expected phonemes for the body of text, and it is not necessary to convert the user's speech to text. As the computer system need only work with the similarity scores and the sequence of expected phonemes, it can be implemented in a computationally efficient manner.

The computing device assists the particular user to use the UI by customizing the help information for the particular user based on the one or more selected cognitive states. 摘要： A system and method for assisting a user in learning a target non-native language includes a processor executing instructions stored on a computer-readable medium, the executed instructions causing the processor to provide the user with an audible presentation of a word or a phrase in the target non-native language and prompting the user to audibly respond with speech data. The system captures the audible response and converts the audible response into input text data, then evaluates the text data for accuracy by comparing text characters in the text data to anticipated text data contained in a database. The system calculates the number of incorrect characters in the text data, then converts the evaluated text data into an output audio file and reads back the audio file to the user. The readback provided by the system provides audible feedback to the user regarding the accuracy of the evaluated text data.
