摘要: An inductive power outlet is disclosed. The inductive power outlet has a primary inductor, for wirelessly powering an inductive power receiver. The inductive power outlet has a secondary inductor. The primary inductor and the secondary inductor form a resonant frequency. The inductive power outlet comprises a driver generating an oscillating voltage to the primary coil at a frequency higher than the resonant frequency. The inductive power outlet comprises a signal detector. The signal detector comprises a peak detector configured to detect voltage peaks across the primary inductor or current peaks of a current supplied to the primary inductor. The signal detector comprises a processor configured to determine a frequency of either the voltage peaks or the current peaks.

At least one example is a method including: limiting a push-phase voltage excursion of a phase node on a secondary side of a power converter during a push phase of a primary side of the power converter, the limiting by extracting current from the phase node and storing the current on a clamp capacitor; limiting a pull-phase voltage excursion of the phase node on the secondary side of the power converter during a pull phase of the primary side of the power converter, the limiting by extracting current from the phase node and storing the current on a clamp capacitor; and utilizing the current stored on the clamp capacitor to drive a component on the secondary side.

摘要: A semiconductor package includes a VLSI semiconductor die and one or more output circuits connected to supply power to the die mounted to a package substrate. The output circuit(s), which include a transformer and rectification circuitry, provide current multiplication at an essentially fixed conversion ratio, K, in the semiconductor package, receiving AC power at a relatively high voltage and delivering DC power at a relatively low voltage to the die. The output circuits may be connected in series or parallel as needed. A driver circuit may be provided outside the semiconductor package for receiving power from a source and driving the transformer in the output circuit(s), preferably with sinusoidal currents. The driver circuit may drive a plurality of output circuits. The semiconductor package may require far fewer interface connections for supplying power to the die.

摘要: The disclosure provides a power supply and an operation method thereof. The power supply includes a power factor correction (PFC) circuit, a resonant conversion circuit and a dead zone control circuit. The PFC circuit performs power factor correction to output a corrected voltage. The resonant conversion circuit is coupled to the PFC circuit to receive the corrected voltage. The resonant conversion circuit converts the corrected voltage into a converted voltage. The dead zone control circuit is coupled to the resonant conversion circuit to receive the switch voltage. The dead zone control circuit controls the PFC circuit to adjust the corrected voltage. The dead zone control circuit observes the change trend of the falling time of the switch voltage in the deadtime by adjusting the corrected voltage. The dead zone control circuit determines the corrected voltage according to the change trend of the switch voltage.

摘要: A resonant converter and a manufacturing method of a transformer thereof are provided. The resonant converter includes a full bridge circuit, an element, a first branch circuit, a second branch circuit and a secondary winding. The full bridge circuit includes a first node and a second node. The element includes an inductor or a capacitor. The first branch circuit includes a first primary winding. The second branch circuit includes a second primary winding, and the first and second primary windings have the same turn number. The transformer is constructed by the first and second primary windings and the secondary winding. The first branch circuit, the element and the second branch circuit are sequentially coupled in series between the first and second nodes. The first branch circuit and the second branch circuit are symmetrically located with respect to the element. The first and second branch circuits have the same impedance.
