摘要: Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods are disclosed to synchronize media playback at devices in a multicast environment. Disclosed is a system to synchronize media playback, the system comprising programmable circuitry, and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed or instantiated by the programmable circuitry, facilitate performance of operations, comprising transmitting, using a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP), a first request in a first HTTP message to a first client device and to a second client device, receiving, from the first client device in response to the first request. a first time stamp associated with a first presentation, the first time stamp representing a first playback time within the first presentation, receiving, from the second client device in response to the first request, a second time stamp associated with a second presentation, the second time stamp representing a second playback time within the second presentation, calculating a time difference between the first time stamp and the second time stamp, determining whether the time difference satisfies a threshold, transmitting a second HTTP message to the first client device and the second client device in response to a determination that the time difference fails to satisfy the threshold, the second HTTP message to cause the first client device to pause the first presentation and the second client device to pause the second presentation, transmitting seek instructions in a third HTTP message to the second client device, the seek instructions to cause the second client device to synchronize the second presentation to the first presentation by setting the first and second playback times equal, and transmitting a fourth HTTP message to cause the first client device to resume the first presentation and the second client device to resume the second presentation.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to identify media sources are disclosed. Example apparatus disclosed herein include an exclusivity determiner, a unique asset identifier, and a signature matcher. The exclusivity determiner is to determine whether media is exclusive to a provider. The unique asset identifier is to associate a first signature of the media with the provider if the media is exclusive to the provider. The signature matcher is to identify the provider based on a second signature, the second signature matching the first signature, the second signature extracted from media presented at a media presentation location.

摘要: A method, apparatus, and non-transitory storage medium for network driven management of 5G Real-time Media Communication (5G RTC) for edge processing may be provided. The method may include creating a real-time communication (RTC) provisioning session by a RTC application provider (AP) with a RTC application function (AF) and provisioning one or more RTC features associated with the RTC provisioning session by the RTC AP. The method may also include receiving a notification of a WebRTC session starting over a 5G network, then determining whether the WebRTC session is eligible for requesting edge resources; and starting media streaming over the 5G network.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for improved content delivery are described herein. During delivery of content to one or more user devices of a content distribution network (CDN), a content session may be created for each user device. During each content session, each user device may send one or more upstream communications, such as heartbeat signals and bitrate requests, to the CDN. A monitoring module of the CDN may aggregate the upstream communications into session data. The monitoring module may use the session data to determine an impairment associated with content delivery to the one or more user devices.

摘要: Systems and techniques for selective transport of spatially partitioned immersive media content are described herein. In an example, the system may negotiate an attribute for media content between a media producer and a media consumer. A content structure for the media content may be determined based on the negotiation of the attribute, and a network packet may be created with information corresponding to the determined content structure encoded into a transport protocol header of the network packet. The network packet may be filtered to produce filtered media content. The filtered media content may be transmitted to the media consumer.

摘要: A method and device for efficiently providing an artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) media service using AI/ML model split processing in a wireless communication system is provided. The method and device are related to a 5th generation (5G) or 6th generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. The method includes receiving, from a network server providing the AI/ML media service, service access information including at least one of information for media session handling and information for media streaming access, obtaining information on client AI media inferencing capabilities and functions, negotiating with the network server for splitting an AI media inference processing, based on the received service access information and the obtained information on client AI media inferencing capabilities and functions, and receiving, from the network server, either intermediate data or inference output data by AI model split inferencing.

摘要: Methods and systems are disclosed for delivery of notification messaging in an IP network. A multicast gateway may receive manifest files and segments of programming content for retrieval by a client device. The multicast gateway may receive segments of a notification message and modify information in the manifest file to reference the notification message content. Upon retrieval of the manifest file by a client device, the client may access the notification message content referenced in the manifest file. The multicast gateway may replace references to programming content with references to notification message content having a corresponding content type.
