본 발명은 핑거프린트에 기반한 광고 검출 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 방송 콘텐츠를 실시간으로 저장하는 콘텐츠 스트림 저장부; 상기 콘텐츠 스트림 저장부에 의해 저장된 방송 콘텐츠 중에서 레퍼런스 구간과 테스트 구간을 선택하는 구간 선택부; 상기 구간 선택부에 의해 선택된 레퍼런스 구간과 테스트 구간에 대해 적어도 하나 이상의 방식으로 핑거프린트를 추출하는 핑거프린트 추출부; 상기 핑거프린트 추출부에서 추출된 테스트 구간에 대한 핑거프린트와 레퍼런스 구간에 대한 핑거프린트를 비교하여 매칭을 수행하는 핑거프린트 매칭부; 상기 핑거프린트 매칭부에서 수행된 매칭 결과에 기초하여 테스트 구간으로부터 광고 세그먼트를 결정하는 광고 구간 결정부; 상기 광고 구간 결정부에 의해 결정된 광고 세그먼트들에 대한 세그먼트 정보를 광고 데이터베이스에 저장하고 광고 데이터베이스를 관리하는 광고 데이터베이스 관리부; 및 상기 구간 선택부에서 선택된 레퍼런스 구간과 테스트 구간을 변경하는 구간 갱신부를 포함하는 핑거프린트에 기반한 광고 검출 시스템 및 이를 이용한 방법을 제공한다.

Ce procédé d'identification de terminal dans un système de fourniture de contenus multimédia comporte : a) l'acquisition (101, 103) puis le décodage (105, 107, 109), par ce terminal, d'un contenu multimédia temporel pour générer un flux apte à être joué par un appareil multimédia, b) la transmission (116, 144, 103) à ce terminal, par un dispositif d'identification de terminaux, d'un ordre d'identification, c) en réponse à cet ordre, le déclenchement (129), par le terminal, en fonction d'un identifiant, d'une modification prédéterminée du flux, et la transmission (109) du flux modifié en tant que flux à jouer par l'appareil multimédia, d) l'acquisition, par le dispositif d'identification de terminaux, du flux modifié et la détermination (130) de l'identifiant, à partir de l'ordre transmis et de la présence ou de l'absence, en réponse, de la modification prédéterminée dans le flux acquis, et indépendamment de la teneur de ladite modification prédéterminée.

The aim of the present invention is to enforce the watermarking on a content received by a client device, in particular to uncompressed video content. The present invention concerns a method to watermark an uncompressed content received at a client device in a compressed form and encrypted by at least one content key (CW), said content key (CW) as well as watermark instruction forming CAS data, said CAS Data being encrypted by a transmission key and comprising at least one signature to authenticate the CAS Data, said client device comprising A Conditional Access Module (CAS) in charge of the CAS Data, a Descrambler (DSC) having an input to receive the encrypted compressed content and an output to produce an compressed content, a decoder to convert the compressed content into uncompressed content, a Watermark inserter (201) connected to the output of the Decoder, a Secure Activation module (202) connected with the Watermark inserter (201), a Secure Element (SE 200) connected with the Watermark inserter (201) and the Secure Activation module (202), said method comprising the following steps : - receiving the CAS Data, - decrypting by the Conditional Access Module (CAS) the CAS Data with the transmission key, - verifying the signature of the CAS Data, and if the signature is valid, - transferring the content key (CW) to the descrambler (103) and the watermark instruction to the Secure Activation module (202), - transferring the watermark instruction and the unique identifier to the Watermark inserter (201), - enabling or disabling watermarking by the Watermark inserter (201), the uncompressed content received from the Decoder by watermarking data initialized by the unique identifier.

Methods, devices, systems and computer program products utilized watermarks that are embedded in a content to facilitate content access, and to enhance a user's experience by allowing the user to explore additional options for obtaining the desired content and related items of interest, in one method, an indication for an access to a content is received that includes one or more copy management watermarks and one or more enhanced payload watermarks. At least one copy management watermark and at least one enhanced payload watermark are extracted from the content. Upon a determination, based on the at least one copy management watermark, that access rights to the content is restricted, the enhanced payload watermark is used to present one or more alternative options.

An intelligent television can provide various interfaces for navigating processes associated with providing content. The user interfaces include unique visual representations and organizations that allow the user to utilize the intelligent television more easily and more effectively. Particularly, the user interfaces pertain to the display of media content, electronic programming guide information, television content, and other content. Further, the user interfaces provide unique process of transitioning between the content.

An Intelligent Television provides unique user interfaces and user interface interactions to provide social media. The interfaces and interface are intuitive and allow the user to quickly retrieve and view social media with respect to content displayed on the Intelligent Television. Further, intuitive user interface interactions are provided to allow for the quick and efficient posting of social media from the Intelligent Television to a social media site.

L'invention concerne un procédé de basculement d'un premier programme vers un deuxième programme dans un réseau de diffusion mettant en œuvre une tête de réseau et au moins un récepteur. Selon l'invention, un tel procédé met en œuvre les étapes suivantes, au niveau d'au moins un des récepteurs : - détection (31), dans un signal portant le premier programme, d'un fragment audio spécifique destiné à assurer une transition entre deux programmes; - remplacement (32), dans le signal, du premier programme par le deuxième programme, en cas de détection positive.

A method of processing an interactive service and an apparatus thereof are disclosed. The present invention includes receiving uncompressed audio content or uncompressed video content from an external decoding unit, extracting identifiers of frames from the received content periodically, submitting requests containing the identifiers and receiving a trigger for the content when a new segment is detected or when an event activation needs to be communicated to the receiver, wherein the trigger indicates the current time of the contents and references a particular interactive event in an application parameter table or signals that the event is to be executed now or at a specified future time, wherein the application parameter table includes information about at least one of applications.
