본 발명은 액상소금에 관한 것으로, 특히 해양심층수를 원수로 사용하여 액상소금을 얻고 상기 액상소금에서는 미네랄이 인체에 유익하도록 적정량이 함유토록 한 것이고, 또한 미네랄이 적정량이 함유된 상태에서의 액상소금에 다양한 향이 발향될 수 있도록 함은 물론 원적외선의 에너지와 전하를 갖도록 함으로서 액상소금에 다양한 기능성을 부가토록 한 것이다. 이를 위하여 해양심층수에서 공지의 담수화 방법의 어느 하나로 담수를 분리하여 일정농도의 미네랄 염수를 얻는 단계와; 상기 단계에서 얻어진 일정농도의 미네랄 염수를 가열농축하여 칼슘염을 분리하여 농축액을 얻는 단계와; 상기 농축액에서 분리된 칼슘염을 미세분의 형태로 가공하여 상기 농축액에 적정량을 혼합토록 하여 일정한 염도가 유지되면서도 인체에 적합한 미네랄이 함유토록 한 액상소금을 얻게 되는 단계로 이루어지는 것이다.

The present invention relates to a breakfast replacement beverage comprising a fibre, vitamin C, calcium and protein, which is particularly adapted to children. It also provides for a process of making such beverage and for uses of the beverage for providing nutrition to a child. The composition may be available as a powder and preferably comprises: - between 1.5 and 5 g of soluble fibre, - between 2.5 and 130 mg of vitamin C, - between 100 and 500 mg of calcium and - between 3.1 and 12.8 g of protein per serving.

The present invention relates to methods and sports drink compositions for treating and/or preventing muscle weakness and/or increasing muscle strength and/or stamina in subjects in need thereof. The sports drink composition includes meglumine or a salt thereof and at least one electrolyte compound, the electrolyte compound including sodium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium ions, and combinations thereof. The method includes administering to the subject an effective amount of a sports drink composition comprising meglumine or a salt thereof and at least one electrolyte compound; wherein administration of the sports drink composition reduces and/or prevents muscle weakness and/or lack of stamina in the subject and/or increases muscle strength in the subject.
