The present invention relates to a breakfast replacement beverage comprising a fibre, vitamin C, calcium and protein, which is particularly adapted to children. It also provides for a process of making such beverage and for uses of the beverage for providing nutrition to a child. The composition may be available as a powder and preferably comprises: - between 1.5 and 5 g of soluble fibre, - between 2.5 and 130 mg of vitamin C, - between 100 and 500 mg of calcium and - between 3.1 and 12.8 g of protein per serving.

A dry stable probiotic composition is provided. The composition comprises one or more viable probiotic microorganisms, one or more hydrolyzed proteins, one or more disaccharides, one or more oligosaccharides, and one or more polysaccharides, but not trehalose. The composition has viability of at least 1x10 10 CFU/g, and a viability loss of less than 1 log unit/g after 3 months at a temperature of 40 °C and a relative humidity of 33%. Also provided are methods for preparing the dry stable probiotic composition.

This invention relates to the use of the combination of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 ("25-OH D3") and antioxidants/anti-inflammatories (ascorbic acid, vitamin E and at least one carotenoid) to make a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food supplement which can ameliorate various problems observed in humans connected with polycystic ovarian 5 syndrome and cardiovascular diseases. Pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and food supplements containing the 25-OH D3 and antioxidants/anti-inflammatories and premixes are also provided.

Infant formulas that include a combination of RRR-alpha-tocopherol, 2'-fucosyllactose, and at least one probiotic from the Lactobacillus or the Bifidobacterium genera are disclosed. Also provided are methods of use of the infant formulas for improving at least one of cognition, learning, and memory in an infant. The methods include administering the infant formulas to an infant.
