Abstract:
A number of variations may include a product including a fluid additive including at least one asphaltene dispersant/inhibitor including a branched dendritic core and at least one carboxylic acid moiety.
Abstract:
Additives which improve the low-temperature properties of distillate fuels are oligomeric/polymeric reaction products consisting of cross-linked anhydride and cross-linked epoxide (or their corresponding acid/diol equivalents), with optional termonomers.
Abstract:
The invention provides fuel mixtures containing biodiesel oil, glycerol, glycerol soluble compounds, surfactants and additives. The fuel mixtures are uniform, remain suspended in solution, and are resistant to phase separation. Upon combustion, the mixtures generate reduced CO, CO 2 , SOx, NOx and particulate matter emissions compared to petroleum fuels and offer improved engine performance over petroleum and water mixtures.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a lubricant additive to fuel, using fatty-acid compounds. In the method, saturated fatty acids, which are esterified and possibly aminated, with a high melting point are separated from a fatty-acid mixture by cooling, the mixture thus obtained being mixed again with the part of the original fatty-acid mixture from which the fatty acids with a high melting point have been separated, the necessary amount of this latter mixture being mixed with fuel as a lubricant. The fatty-acid mixture is separated in the presence of a solvent or solvent mixture containing alcohol groups and the solvent or solvent mixture are used to esterify the removed fatty acids. The said solvents are removed from the mother liquor and the esterified fractions are combined with the residue of the mother liquor and used as an auxiliary agent in fuel.
Abstract:
Method of reduced temperature metallic vapor phase combustion for jet, turbine, diesel, fuel oil, and gasoline combustion systems. More particularly, it relates to methods and composition of metal-containing fuels comprised of enhanced combustion structure capable of increasing combustion burning velocity and reducing combustion temperature.
Abstract:

Abstract:
This invention relates to the use of an oil-soluble mono-, di-, or tri-glyceride of at least one hydroxy polycarboxylic acid, or a derivative thereof, as an anti-camshaft-wear additive in a non-aqueous lubricant composition and/or in a fuel composition.
