Dynamic pressure container for processing of one or more cheese blocks, comprising a container body (2) having a bottom wall member (4), a plurality of side wall members (6) and an open top side (8) delimited by the plurality of side wall members (6); a releasable top cover member (10) for engagement with the open top side (8); one or more releasable tightening members (12) for tightening engagement between the top cover member (10) and the container body (2). A compressible pad member (14) is provided which in operation extends along an inner side (11) of the top cover member (10) facing the open top side (8), thereby providing an adjustable volume to the container body (2). The compressible pad member (14) is in a compressed state over a major part of surface (15) of the compressible pad member (14) during operation.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur forcierten Ableitung von Pressmolke (PM) aus einer Käsepresse (10), die für das Pressen von Käse (K) in einer Mehrzahl von Käseformen (2) mit beweglichen Deckeln (3) derart ausgerüstet ist, dass über die Deckel (3) Druck auf den Käse (K) ausübbar ist, wobei die Käseformen (2) mindestens in einer Pressreihe (R) angeordnet sind, und mit den weiteren oberbegrifflichen Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1, sowie eine Anlage, die zur Durchführung des Verfahrens geeignet ist. Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Verfahren und eine Anlage der in Rede stehenden Art bereitzustellen, wodurch die Qualität der an der Käsepresse anfallenden Pressmolke für die nachfolgenden Prozesse positiv beeinflusst wird. Dies wird verfahrenstechnisch dadurch erreicht, dass der zu dem Ende der Pressreihe (R) ablaufenden Pressmolke (PM) von dem anderen Ende der Pressreihe (R) eine Spülflüssigkeit (S) bedarfsweise zugeführt wird.

The invention concerns an apparatus (1) for contemporaneously shaping and pressing a plurality of Grana cheese forms comprising a support frame (2), a tank for collecting the curd having movable holed lateral (3) and upper (7) walls, suitable to press and shape the curd under serum and to end the drainage of the serum, a tank (5) to contain the serum, provided external with respect to said curd collecting tank, a platform having the bottom holed, to drain the serum, horizontal thrust means (13, 14) of the pressed and shaped caseous mass coming out from the collecting tank, cut means (15) for the caseous mass coming out from the collecting mass so as to obtain single cheeses, drawing means (11, 17, 18) for the single cheeses obtained, and control means (30) to operate the various components.

The present invention relates to an apparatus (100) and a corresponding method (200) for thermally treating and forming a food product (FP) into a sheet (S). The apparatus (100) comprises a first extrusion belt (110) and a second extrusion belt (110´). The first extrusion belt (110) and the second extrusion belt (110´) are arranged opposite to each other at a distance such that a longitudinal gap (120) is formed in between. The apparatus (100) further comprises a food product inlet (130), a first thermal element (140) arranged at a back side (114) of the first extrusion belt (110) and a second thermal element (140´) arranged at a back side (114´) of the second extrusion belt (110´). The food product (FP) may be thermally treated and formed into the sheet (S) by being conveyed from the upper end (115) of the longitudinal gap (120) to the lower end (116) thereof.

A countertop cooking appliance is an apparatus that is used to manufacture food, particularly cheeses, with controlled heating, mixing, cutting, drainage, and pressure cycles. The apparatus is also configured to accept various cooking patterns for different foods based on different recipes. A curding chamber provides the space within which adding, mixing, cutting, heating, and otherwise interacting with components occurs. A collecting receptacle retains byproducts of food-making processes. A structural base allows for support of the apparatus upon a countertop. A structural boom enables the application of appropriate motion during use of the apparatus. A linearly and rotationally actuating mechanism enables generation of motion relative to the structural base and the curding chamber. A heater regulates temperature during the food-making process. A controller accepts electrical inputs and converts them into appropriate commands for other components. An at least one interchangeable curd-interacting head provides various capabilities for use with the curding chamber.

A novel wallboard composition is disclosed comprising a unique combination of synthetic binders selected for their ability to establish a strengthened permanent bond in the final dry state in combination with an expanded mineral such as Perlite which largely reduces the amount of gypsum over current gypsum wallboard formulations, thus reducing the weight while maintaining the strength of the wallboard structure. In a preferred embodiment, the lightweight, strengthened wallboard of the present invention also comprises a covering veneer that is applied to the top ply of the face paper to provide increased strength, moisture resistance, and fire retardency, and the back paper top ply is treated to provide increased flexural strength. Additionally, this invention relates to the unique manufacturing process to produce the wallboard composition of the present invention in order to create a lightweight, strengthened, moisture resistant, and fire retardant wallboard used to cover walls and ceilings in construction applications. Still further, this invention relates to the apparatus for manufacturing the wallboard composition of the present invention, including a method and apparatus for economically converting a standard gypsum wallboard manufacturing facility into a facility for manufacturing wallboard of the present invention.
