Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a corrugated board comprising an adhesive arranged to attach a fluted corrugated medium to a liner wherein the adhesive comprises starch and microfibrillated cellulose. The invention also relates to a method to produce said corrugated board.
Abstract:
Provided is a cellulosic composite comprised of cellulosic material and a binder. The binder comprises an aldehyde or ketone and amine salt of an inorganic acid. The composition when mixed with cellulosic material and cured forms a cellulosic composite.
Abstract:
A cyanoacrylate delivery system includes a package body containing a cyanoacrylate adhesive composition. The package body is composed of an inner layer of nitrile polymer and an outer layer of polypropylene or aluminum.
Abstract:
A single-coated adhesive tape without a backing substrate is provided. The single-coated adhesive tape comprises an adhesive layer having a thickness of 30 to 1000 mum, which contains 50 to 95% by weight of a hot melt adhesive and 5 to 50% by weight of a film-forming component, and a non-tacky coating layer having a thickness of 0.01 to 15 mum is provided on one surface of said adhesive layer.
Abstract:
A process is presented for forming an anisotropic heat spreader or heat pipe, comprising forming a laminate comprising a plurality of flexible graphite sheets which comprise graphene layers; and directionally aligning the graphene layers of the laminate.
Abstract:
This invention is a structural adhesive and a laminate of untreated substrates adhered together with a structural adhesive which combines a two part polyurethane adhesive with a two part free radical curing adhesive. The adhesive is especially useful in the manufacture of personal watercraft built to withstand rough waves and made of fiberglass reinforced plastic.
Abstract:
The present invention relates a method for the production of an adhesive wherein said method comprise the following steps: providing a suspension comprising starch, swelling the starch by alkali or temperature treatment or by cooking the starch suspension to form a starch suspension, providing a suspension comprising microfibrillated cellulose which suspension has a solid content above 10%-by weight, adding the suspension comprising microfibrillated cellulose to the suspension comprising starch either before or during the swelling or the cooking of the starch or to the formed starch suspension to produce the adhesive. The invention further relates to a corrugated board and an adhesive.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device, system, method and computer readable medium for use with biological and nonbiological data to determine indicators and/or identify trends on an individual or population scale. A reconciled combination of one or more sets of data associated with a user is compared with reference or population data to generate a report, indicator or status of the user. Also disclosed is a flexible adhesive surface comprising a topographical pattern for removeably adhering a body to a surface. A method for preparing an adhesive elastomer and for incorporating electronic components into elastomers is further disclosed.
Abstract:
A hydrogel tissue adhesive having decreased degradation time is described. The hydrogel tissue adhesive is formed by reacting an oxidized polysaccharide with a water-dispersible, multi-arm polyether amine in the presence of an oligomer additive, which promotes the degradation of the hydrogel. The hydrogel may be useful as a tissue adhesive or sealant for medical applications, such as a hemostat sealant or to prevent undesired tissue-to-tissue adhesions resulting from trauma or surgery.
