Abstract: The present disclosure includes a battery module having a vent path with an exit port. The battery module also includes a vent pad disposed within the vent path and blocking at least a portion of the exit port, coupled to a boundary surface of the exit port via an adhesive layer between the vent pad and the boundary surface, and configured to enable venting through the exit port by separating from the boundary surface along the adhesive layer in response to a pressure against the vent pad exceeding a venting pressure threshold of the battery module.

The battery comprises: a wire harness assembly; a middle housing that includes a plurality of cell chambers for accommodating the top sections of the plurality of serially connected battery cells. The lower housing includes a plurality of cell chambers for accommodating the bottom sections of the plurality of serially connected battery cells 102; and the middle housing has a top surface for installing the wire harness assembly (1106) and the plurality of cell chambers beneath the top surface (1102) of the middle housing.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery pack including a housing, wherein the housing has a bottom portion and side walls extending upward around a periphery of the bottom portion; an upper portion opening is formed at top ends of the side walls extending upward; an upper cover is mounted on the upper portion opening of the housing; and the battery pack comprises: multiple flat battery cells; and a first end plate and a second end plate, wherein when the multiple battery cells are sequentially arranged and mounted into the housing from the upper portion opening, the first end plate and the second end plate are located at two end sides of the sequentially arranged multiple battery cells to laterally fix the sequentially arranged multiple battery cells. The two end plates may absorb deformation of the battery cell while expanding.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery pack including a housing, wherein the housing has a bottom portion, on which are disposed a first length side wall and a second length side wall that extend upward along a length direction of the bottom portion and are oppositely disposed, and a first width side wall and a second width side wall that extend upward along a width direction of the bottom portion and are oppositely disposed; the housing comprises a first step and a second step disposed at two ends of the first length side wall; the housing further comprises a first metal wiring terminal and a second metal wiring terminal, wherein the first metal wiring terminal and the second metal wiring terminal are disposed on the first step and the second step, respectively; a material for bearing the first metal wiring terminal and the second metal wiring terminal is a first plastic material, while other parts of the housing are made of a second plastic material, or most of other parts of the housing are made of the second plastic material. The two materials have different characteristics suitable for a requirement of the battery pack on the material.

Abstract: The present invention provides a battery control system for controlling a battery pack that is formed by a plurality of battery cells. The battery control system comprises: a detecting circuit for detecting at least one operation parameter of the battery pack; an activating circuit, which receives the at least one operation parameter from the detecting circuit, for generating a first control signal when the detected at least one operation parameter exceeds or is below at least one critical-level threshold; a supervision unit, which receives the at least one operation parameter from the detecting circuit, for managing the battery pack and generating a second control signal when the at least one operational parameter exceeds or below at least one cap-level threshold; a switching circuit, which receives the first control signal from the activating circuit and/or the second control signal from the supervision unit, for connecting the battery pack to and disconnecting the battery pack from an power output in response to the first control signal and/or the second control signal.
