    摘要: In a device for adjusting the injection timing in a diesel engine fitted with EDC, a basic value (SBGWs) of injection timing for operation in the static or steady state is stored in a first characteristic field (20) and a basic value (SBGWd) for operation in the dynamic or unsteady state such as acceleration and deceleration is stored in a second characteristic field (22). These basic values are dependent on desired injected fuel quantity (Q) and engine speed (n). The characteristic field (20) for the static state is designed empirically or otherwise to optimize fuel consumption whereas the characteristic field (22) for the dynamic state is designed for minimum pollutant emission. A gradual changeover from one mode to the other is achieved by the gradual change of a multiplying factor (c) from 0 to 1 or vice versa responsively to dQ/dt departing significantly from zero or becoming zero.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine, in particular for a motor vehicle, is described. The internal combustion engine is provided with a control unit for determining a setpoint fuel mass and/or a setpoint air mass as a function of a setpoint torque. The control unit is also provided for transitioning from a first operating mode to a second operating mode of the internal combustion engine. An actual torque is determined by the control unit during the transition to the second operating mode of the internal combustion engine. A torque difference between the setpoint torque and the actual torque is also calculated by the control unit. Finally, the setpoint fuel mass and/or the setpoint air mass is controlled by the control unit as a function of the torque difference.

    摘要: A control system for a fuel pump, particularly for a solenoid-valve-controlled fuel pump in the case of a self-ignitable internal-combustion engine, in which at least one pulse transmitter is mounted on the crankshaft and/or on the camshaft. The generated pulse sequences include at least several reference pulses for establishing the beginning of fuel injection, as well as speed pulses for detecting the average and the instantaneous rotational speeds. A trial activation takes place to detect into which cylinder the fuel must be injected. Based on the reaction of the fuel injection system and/or of the internal-combustion engine, it is detected whether fuel was injected into the proper cylinder.
