摘要: A seatbelt buckle apparatus for attaching a tongue of a seatbelt includes a buckle projection mechanism having a buckle therein, to which the tongue of the seatbelt is to be inserted, a seating detection portion, and a load transmission-driving device. The buckle projection mechanism locates the buckle inside a seat when an occupant is not seated, and to stand up from the seat when the occupant is seated. The seating detection portion is housed in the seat at a seating position of the occupant and detects a load of the occupant. The seating detection portion has a supporting member. The load transmission-driving device transmits a displacement amount of the supporting member, generated in the seating detection portion when the occupant is seated, to the buckle projection mechanism, and drives the buckle projection mechanism so that the tongue can be inserted into the buckle when the occupant is seated.

摘要: Provided are an airbag and an airbag device that are capable of reducing impact on an occupant at an out of position while providing restraining ability with respect to the occupant in a normally seated state. An airbag device includes an airbag 2 that is normally folded and accommodated in a seat 11 of a vehicle and that is inflated and deployed in an emergency, and an inflator 3 that supplies gas to the airbag 2. The airbag 2 includes a bag member 21 that is formed of a base cloth 2a, and a plurality of pleats 22 that are formed at the bag member 21. The pleats 22 have a crease portion 23 in a front-back direction of the vehicle to allow the gas to escape to the crease portion 23 upon loading from the front-back direction of the vehicle when the bag member 21 is inflated and deployed.

摘要: Disclosed is a transformation method whereby an ability to produce a useful substance of a stramenopile can be improved. The method for transforming a stramenopile comprises transferring a foreign gene into the stramenopile which is a microorganism belonging to the class Labyrinthula, more specifically, to a genus Labyrinthula, Altornia, Aplanochytrium, Schizochytrium, Aurantiochytrium, Thraustochytrium, Ulkenia, etc. Said foreign gene, which is a gene relating to tolerance against an antibiotic, a colorimetric protein and/or a fatty acid desaturase (Δ5 desaturase gene, Δ12 desaturase gene and/or ω3 desaturase gene), is transferred by using the electroporation or gene-gun technique.

摘要: An airbag jacket having a good fitting performance of an expanded airbag for a body in the airbag jacket where the airbag is expanded along an outer surface of the body of the wearer. An airbag 2 is provided in a manner so as to cover a waistline and both shoulders of the wearer. An inside of the airbag 2 is partitioned into a plurality of cells 2a by means of that an inner panel 3 constituting a first surface on a wearer side of the airbag 2 and an outer panel 4 constituting a second surface on an opposite side to the wearer is partially stitched by means of a line-shaped stitching portion 6. Each of the cells 2a is formed to have a shape extending in a body height direction of the wearer. Thereby, the airbag 2 is brought to be expanded along an outer surface of a body portion of the wearer as a whole.
