摘要: A method of mixing a rubber composition includes a carbon introduction step and a uniform dispersion step. In the carbon introduction step, on the basis of a deviation between a rate of temperature increase of the rubber mixture (R) and a target value, at least one of a ram pressure (Pr) and a rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is PID controlled so that the ultimate temperature of the rubber mixture (R) at the conclusion of the step is within a tolerance range. In the uniform dispersion step, the ram pressure (Pr) or the rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is adjusted to reduce a deviation between a value based on successively detected data associated with a predetermined control target and a target value.

摘要: A batch preparation system for quickly and efficiently mixing materials with a fluid, such as to fill an agricultural reservoir tank. The batch preparation system generally includes a frame, a tank unit comprising a plurality of tanks connected to the frame, and a transfer system for mixing materials stored in the tanks with fluids being pumped from a fluid source. The tanks are interconnected to form a unitary tank unit which is positioned on the frame. The transfer system includes a manifold pipe which is fluidly connected to each of the tanks. An eductor is connected to the manifold such that the materials from each tank are drawn by suction through the eductor into a mixing conduit, where the materials are mixed with the fluid from the pump. The resulting mixture is dispensed through a transfer outlet, such as to a reservoir tank.

摘要: An apparatus and a method for dispersing particulate materials prone to agglomeration, in a liquid. Particulate materials are exposed to a liquid and put into that liquid to form a suspension or a dispersion in a controlled method thereby minimizing agglomerates. The method uses mechanical/hydro mixing that prevents the physical deterioration of the particulate material and inhibits agglomeration of the particles. In many cases, these materials may be nanomaterials. Almost all particulate materials, can be handled in this manner. This method has been found to be especially useful for preparing solutions of exfoliated graphene and certain drugs.

摘要: Rotary lance drives for rotating a lance for injecting gas and powdered reagents into molten metal include a reciprocating rotary lance drive and an associated method. A lance mount which facilitates loading of a lance into a lance drive is also disclosed. Various lance designs are described for improving dispersion of reagent and decreasing process time, including lances having non-circular refractory portions and lances having cross-port arrangements for more evenly distributed reagent discharge.

摘要: A cathode slurry comprising organic solvent, lithium iron phosphate, polymeric binder, and at least one conductive agent, and from about 30 wt. % to about 40 wt. % solids is prepared. The cathode slurry may be coated onto at least one side of a substrate to form a cathode coated substrate. The cathode coated substrate may be dried to form a cathode. An anode and cathode may be contained within a housing with electrolyte to form a lithium ion cell.
