    摘要: Structural preform layers of multiple rigid unidirectional strength elements or rods are constructed and arranged for use in fabricating load-bearing support structures and reinforcements of wind turbine blades. Individual preform layers include multiple elongate unidirectional strength elements or rods arranged in a single layer along a longitudinal axis of the preform layer. Each preform layer includes one or more fibrous carrier layers to which the multiple strength elements or rods are joined and arranged in the single layer. Each strength element or rod is longitudinally oriented and adjacent to other elements or rods. Individual strength elements or rods include a mass of substantially straight unidirectional structural fibers embedded within a matrix resin such that the elements or rods have a substantially uniform distribution of fibers and high degree of fiber collimation. The relative straightness of the fibers and fiber collimation provide strength elements or rods and the preform layers with high rigidity and significant compression strength.

    摘要: A method for the manufacture of integral coach bodies includes the steps of winding an inner covering layer on a body-shaped winding core and attaching a plurality of U-shaped channel segments to outer surfaces of ceiling and floor walls and attaching a plurality of insulation segments in corner regions of the body. A stiffening framework is attached to the outer surfaces of side walls of the body, insulation plates are attached in some rectangular openings in the stiffening framework and blank covers are positioned in other ones of the openings for subsequently installing windows and doors. The attached elements form a step-tree surface upon which is wound an outer covering layer. The coach body thus manufactured is removed from the winding core, the blank covers are cut out for the door and window openings, apertures are formed in the inner covering layer for the feed and removal of air and openings are formed for mounting illumination devices in the ceiling wall. One or both of the covering layers can be formed with a sandwich type construction having a first winding layer, an insulation mat attached to an outer surface of the first winding layer, and a second winding layer wound over the insulation mat.
