Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for producing multi-layer meltblown mats. The method includes depositing first meltblown fibers onto a first moving surface such as a conveyor belt to form a first layer of meltblown fibers, and depositing second meltblown fibers onto a second moving surface such as a conveyor belt to form a second layer of meltblown fibers. The first and second layers of meltblown fibers are fed through opposed rollers to form combined meltblown layers comprising the first layer of meltblown fibers and the second layer of meltblown fibers. The combined meltblown layers are bonded together to produce a bonded multi-layer meltblown sheet. The bonded multi-layer meltblown sheet has a first outer exposed surface formed by contact of the first layer of meltblown fibers with the first moving surface, and a second outer exposed surface formed by contact of the second layer of meltblown fibers with the second moving surface.

Abstract: A breathable and waterproof cloth includes a base material, an electrospinning film, and a meltblown adhesive film. The electrospinning film is disposed on the base material and includes a plurality of nanofibers, and an average fiber fineness of the nanofibers ranges from 100 nm to 800 nm. The meltblown adhesive film is disposed between the base material and the electrospinning film. The meltblown adhesive film includes a plurality of meltblown fibers, and an average fiber fineness of the meltblown fibers ranges from 800 nm to 20 μm.

Abstract: Filter media comprising non-woven fiber webs having high performance are generally described. For instance, in some embodiments, a non-woven fiber web described herein has a relatively high value of gamma and/or a relatively high ratio of dust holding capacity to basis weight. As another example, in some embodiments, a non-woven fiber web described herein is capable of being loaded with dust relatively uniformly throughout its depth. This latter property may assist with increasing the gamma and/or the ratio of dust holding capacity to basis weight.

Abstract: The present invention provides a non-woven fabric for supporting a solid electrolyte in which heat-fusible composite fibers with a crimp are contained in an amount of not less than 60 mass % and not more than 100 mass % and are heat-fused, and a solid electrolyte sheet. The non-woven fabric for supporting a solid electrolyte is excellent in process performance, is satisfactorily filled with a solid electrolyte, is suitable for achieving a thin solid electrolyte sheet, and has few hole defects. The solid electrolyte sheet is excellent in self-sustainability and flexibility.
