Abstract:
An apparatus for installing cable that includes an outer box. Some embodiments include a reel, the cable, multiple components for installing the cable, and an inner packaging component that holds the components. Some embodiments include tie holes (e.g., two that line up) for passage of a zip tie for attachment of the apparatus to an identical box or anchoring object when pulling the cable. Boxes may include a left side with side flaps connected to front and back sides and cable holes in each flap line up when the box is assembled for passage of cable from the apparatus. The reel may be loose inside the box, which acts as a brake to keep the reel from over spinning when (e.g., communications) cable is pulled. Some outer boxes include certain sides, bends, flaps, tabs, or slots. The inner packaging component may be held in position by an elongated member.
Abstract:
A sheet conveying device includes a motor, a first gear, a roller, a second gear, a first frame and a second frame. The first gear is attached to the motor. The second gear is attached to the roller, and in meshing engagement with the first gear. The first frame includes a wall having a side surface. The second frame is provided with: a first abutment portion in abutment with the side surface; and a second abutment portion in abutment with the side surface. The second abutment portion is positioned downstream of the first abutment portion in a second direction that is perpendicular to an axial direction of the roller. An abutment position between the second abutment portion and the side surface is positioned downstream in a first direction along the axial direction of the roller of an abutment position between the first abutment portion and the side surface.
Abstract:
A system of mitigating force in a mechanical system, the system comprising a frame member, a first rail connected to the frame member, a second rail connected to the frame member and extending along the frame member in parallel to the first rail, an assembly movably engaging the first and second rails, and a first bracket located between the first and second rails, with at least one first bracket attachment secured to the frame member, the first bracket sharing an upper edge with a lower edge of the first rail, such that a downward force applied on the first rail is distributed to the first bracket and the frame member via the at least one first bracket attachment.
Abstract:
A slider moving in a sliding direction between first and second positions shifts a second path-defining member, relative to a first path-defining member, between first and second states. A pair of movable members each disposed on a corresponding side of a slider in a width direction is movable individually in the sliding direction to shift between third and fourth states. The movable members, when both in the third state, position the slider to the first position and, when both in the fourth state, position the slider to the second position. Each movable member supports a corresponding widthwise end of the slider immovably in the sliding direction and movably in the width direction. A support frame supporting the second path-defining member supports a widthwise central portion of the slider movably in the sliding direction and rotatably on a plane parallel to the sliding direction and the width direction.
Abstract:
The image forming apparatus includes a sheet storing unit insertably and pullably attached to the frame unit, an image forming unit, and a frame unit. The frame unit includes two frame members parallel to each other with a predetermined distance therebetween and are connected and fixed to each other. The two frame members respectively include engaged portions. The sheet storing unit includes engaging portions respectively engageable with the engaged portions in a state where the sheet storing unit is inserted in the frame unit. In a state where the engaging portions respectively engage with the engaged portions, the engaging portions that respectively engage with the engaged portions and a portion between the two engaging portions of the sheet storing unit serve as strengthening members to regulate deformation of the two frame members by at least a predetermined amount.
Abstract:
A medium transport device includes a restricting unit that is provided in a device main body, and that is coupled with an attaching and detaching operation of a unit body, which configures a portion of a transport pathway, to the device main body. The restricting unit changes between a first state that allows the cover to attain a closed state with respect to the device main body and a second state that restricts the cover from attaining a closed state with respect to the device main body.
Abstract:
A web-handling machine frame, at least partially built from reconfigurable interconnected blocks having precision alignment points. From such blocks, modular equipment web-handling lines for web-handling operations can be constructed ad hoc with their shaft mounted web-contacting devices in tram without the need for separate alignment procedures.

Abstract:
A first frame includes a pair of first roller-receiving portions which rotatably supports a convey roller. A second frame is attached to the first frame and includes an extending portion which extends beyond one of the first roller-receiving portions toward one side of the convey roller in its axial direction. A third frame includes a base portion, and a first side wall and a second side wall which are opposite to each other. The first and second side walls are attached to the extending portion so as to he perpendicular to the axial direction of the convey roller. The first side wall is disposed more toward the one side of the convey roller in the axial direction than the second side wall and includes a portion which receives a shaft of a motor for the convey roller, and a second roller-receiving portion which rotatably supports the convey roller.
Abstract:
A sheet processing apparatus and method of adjusting a vertical position of a sheet input of a sheet processing apparatus includes a support of the apparatus having first vertically elongated guiding members and second vertically elongated guiding members. The second guiding members are slideably arranged at the first guiding members. The first guiding members are connected to at least one base member, and the second guiding members are connected to a support frame. A vertical position of at least one of the second guide members is adjustable relative to a corresponding one of the first guide members in order to adjust a vertical position of the sheet input.
