Abstract:
A digital TV providing a plurality of contents includes a user input unit; a displaying unit which displays an image thereon; and a controller, which controls the displaying unit to display a contents execution menu corresponding to one of the contents being executed, and including selection items to execute corresponding functions provided by the contents being executed, according to a first signal input from the user input unit, and executes the function corresponding to the selection item selected according to a second signal input from the user input unit. According to the digital TV, and a control method thereof, a user is easily aware of functions used in each of the contents provided by the digital TV, and execution of the functions is facilitated.
Abstract:
An optical film includes a base layer, a resin layer and a plurality of hollow particles. The resin layer is disposed on a surface of the base layer. The hollow particles are disposed in the resin layer. The hollow particles each have an epidermis that defines an inner space of a hollow particle. The hollow particles reflect or transmit light due to a refractive index difference between the epidermis and the inner space.
Abstract:
A synchronous memory device, receiving a number of data in synchronization with a rising edge and a falling edge of a clock, includes a data strobe buffering unit, a data align latching unit and a DQS signal controlling unit. The data strobe buffering unit outputs a rising pulse and a falling pulse for detecting a rising edge and a falling edge of a DQS signal that sustains a high impedance state when there is no operation and is clocked while the data is inputted. The data align latching unit latches and aligns the data in synchronization with the rising pulse and the falling pulse. The DQS signal controlling unit controls the data strobe buffering unit to output the rising pulse and the falling pulse to the data align latching unit only when the DQS signal is clocked.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display (LCD) of the type having a mold frame, a back cover and a reflecting sheet and defining, for design margin reasons, a gap between the mold frame and the back cover, wherein means are provided to prevent the reflective sheet from moving through the gap when the LCD is subjected to impact and vibration.

Abstract:
An approach is provided for determining a program clock reference (PCR) value validity, for avoiding inaccurate variable delay reference (VDR) values, and for avoiding a mismatch in a data packet between a sequence number and a packet number for a wireless display extension. The approach involves determining to generate a data packet carrier having an optional PCR value, a VDR) value, and a validity indicator. The approach may further involve processing the data packet carrier to determine whether the data packet carrier has the optional PCR value. The approach may also involve causing, at least in part, a surrogate PCR value to be generated based, at least in part, on a determined absence of the optional PCR value from the data packet carrier.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an exposure method and a method of manufacturing a mask and a semiconductor device using the same, which minimize time taken by mask data preparation (MDP) to optimize a total exposure process and enhance a quality of a pattern by using an inverse solution concept, based on a multi-beam mask writer. The exposure method includes receiving mask tape output (MTO) design data obtained through optical proximity correction (OPC), preparing mask data, including a job deck, for the MTO design data without a data format conversion, performing complex correction, including proximity effect correction (PEC) of an error caused by an e-beam proximity effect and mask process correction (MPC) of an error caused by an exposure process, on the mask data, generating pixel data, based on data for which the complex correction is performed, and performing e-beam writing on a substrate for a mask, based on the pixel data.
Abstract:
Systems, apparatus and methods are described including operations for video coding rate control including target bitrate and quality control.
Abstract:
Various embodiments are generally directed to an apparatus, method and other techniques for divide a frame comprising pixels into a number of macroblocks, each macroblock comprising a number of pixels within four macroblock boundaries. Various embodiments may also include creating at least two regions having a plurality of macroblocks by dividing the frame along macroblock boundaries and generating wave front groups based on the macroblocks in each region, each wave front group from each region comprising one or more macroblocks to process in parallel.
Abstract:
A hydraulic pump control system provided in a construction machine such as an excavator is provided. According to the hydraulic pump control system, a loss of a flow rate is reduced by initially supplying hydraulic fluid as much as necessary from a hydraulic pump to a hydraulic motor in order to accelerate a swing movement of an upper frame against a lower traveling structure or to make an upper swing structure swing.
