摘要: Light sources are disposed at a plurality of different positions for an object body to be photographed, and a plurality of images corresponding to respective light source positions are photographed, and from the change in the direction or the color on the surface of the object body to be photographed, the parameters to be the coefficient for introducing the direction or the color on the surface of the object body observed from the light source position are measured, and an image can be synthesized for any light source position using the above-mentioned data. Thereby, it is made possible to synthesize an image for any light source position with the data which can be easily available as the images of an object body photographed with a camera and so on, without needing many hands or special tools.

In the photoelectric back plane board, the optical data bus is inserted into a recess within an optical data bus fixing board and a connector holding light emitting/receiving devices is positioningly fixed to the fixing board via through holes H formed in the fixing board so that relative positioning of the signal light incoming/outgoing areas and the light emitting/receiving devices can be easily achieved. By mounting the fixing board on a printed circuit board on which an electrical connector is provided, interconnection of a circuit board mounted on the optical connector and the printed circuit board is achieved by means of the electrical connector.

摘要: This is to present a laser machining method and a laser machining apparatus for drilling holes, capable of achieving conduction securely between adjacent conductive layers, by detecting the machining state of a workpiece adequately, and controlling the machining. For this purpose, the number of laser pulse outputs capable of machining securely is preset. During laser machining, reflected laser beam intensity from the workpiece and incident laser beam intensity are detected, and the machining state of the workpiece is detected. As a result, when judging the workpiece has reached a desired machining state, laser machining is finished if the number of times of laser machining has not reached the set number of laser pulse outputs. If it is judged that the workpiece has not reached the desired machining state, laser machining is finished when reaching the set number of laser pulse outputs. As a result, the laser machining method and laser machining apparatus capable of drilling holes of high quality at high yield and shortening the machining cycle time can be realized.

摘要: A water hammering prevention device including an outer box defining a flow path having an inlet, an outlet and a drain port in a midstream section thereof. An inner tube member has a diaphragm on its periphery dividing the inside of the outer box into an upstream section, and an area consisting of a midstream section and a downstream section of the flow path. A relief valve is provided and is caple of moving toward or away from a valve seat located on the periphery of a valve port provided between the midstream section and the downstream section. A check valve is provided inside the inner tube member to prevent fluid from flowing backward from the downstream side, and to discharge pressurized fluid generated by water hammering to the outside via the drain port.

摘要: After forming domain inverted layers 3 in an LiTaO3 substrate 1, an optical waveguide is formed. By performing low-temperature annealing for the optical wavelength conversion element thus formed, a stable proton exchange layer 8 is formed, where an increase in refractive index generated during high-temperature annealing is lowered, thereby providing a stable optical wavelength conversion element. Thus, the phase-matched wavelength becomes constant, and variation in harmonic wave output is eliminated. Consequently, with respect to an optical wavelength conversion element utilizing a non-linear optical effect a highly reliable element is provided.

摘要: A light generating apparatus includes: a submount; a semiconductor laser chip mounted on the submount; a substrate which is mounted on the submount and includes an optical waveguide; and a substance having a predetermined thickness which is disposed between the semiconductor laser chip and the substrate. In an oscillation wavelength stabilizing apparatus for a light source, the light source is a semiconductor laser which includes: an active region for providing gain; and a distributed Bragg reflection (DBR) region for controlling an oscillation wavelength. The apparatus includes a control section which monotonously varies, in a first direction, a DBR current to be input to the DBR region while detecting the oscillation wavelength of an output light of the semiconductor laser so as to detect a DBR current value Io corresponding to a predetermined wavelength value, and then monotonously varies the DBR current in a second direction which is opposite the first direction beyond the detected value Io, and then monotonously varies the DBR current in the first direction again to set the DBR current at the detected value Io, thereby fixing the oscillation wavelength of the semiconductor laser chip at the predetermined wavelength value.
