摘要: Several embodiments of remote control operators for adjusting the trim of a pair of marine propulsion devices. Each control system is designed so as to permit selective trim adjustment of either of the propulsion devices independently of the other and regardless of its trim adjusted position or for permitting simultaneous adjustment of both of said propulsion devices. A number of different types of circuits are illustrated for accomplishing this result and the adjusted propulsion devices may comprise either an outboard motor, the outboard drive of an inboard/outboard drive or the screws of a twin screw inboard drive.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a method for making a correction map of a dose amount of EUV light used when exposing with the EUV light, includes estimating an exposure result based on an initial correction map of the dose amount and flare of the EUV light, determining a goodness of the exposure result, and correcting the initial correction map in the case where the exposure result is unacceptable. And, the correcting of the initial correction map, the estimating of the exposure result, and the determining of the goodness are repeated until the exposure result is good.

摘要: To provide a method for manufacturing a perpendicular magnetic recording medium which has improved electromagnetic conversion characteristics, and thus making it possible to achieve the much higher recording density.Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a perpendicular magnetic recording medium to be used for recording information by a perpendicular magnetic recording system, the perpendicular magnetic recording medium including at least a soft magnetic layer, an underlayer, and a magnetic recording layer on a substrate. In the method, the underlayer is formed by sputtering deposition, including a low-gas-pressure deposited layer deposited at a low gas pressure during the deposition, and a high-gas-pressure deposited layer deposited at a high gas pressure during the deposition. The high-gas-pressure deposited layer is formed of a multilayer deposited by decreasing a deposition rate in a stepwise manner.

摘要: A clip is provided which can be brought into engagement with a mounting hole with a relatively low insertion force and which can be pulled out of the mounting hole for reuse. This clip includes a flange portion 16 which is brought into abutment with a front surface of a mounting hole, a stem portion 24 which hangs downwards from a rear surface of the flange portion 16, a pair of elastic engagement pieces 26, 26 which are extended from a distal end portion of the stem portion 24 so as to expand obliquely upwards towards the flange portion 16, and an expansion restriction which brings the elastic engagement pieces 26 into engagement with the stem portion 24 or the flange portion 16 while permitting the elastic engagement pieces 26 to deflect further inwards when the elastic engagement pieces 26 deflect inwards with a given angle. The elastic engagement pieces 26 deflect further inwards than an engagement position set by the expansion restriction mechanism so as to pass through the mounting hole 13 and expand again on a rear surface side of the mounting hole 13 so as to be brought into engagement with the mounting hole 13.

摘要: A combined sensor and bearing assembly (1) of the present invention includes a rolling bearing unit (22) and a rotation sensor unit (23). The rolling bearing unit (22) includes a rotatable raceway member (2), a stationary raceway member (3) mounted around the rotatable raceway member (2) with an annular bearing space defined between it and the rotatable raceway member (2), and a circular row of rolling elements (4). The combined sensor and bearing assembly (1) also includes a to-be-detected member (7) including a magnet secured to the rotatable raceway member (2), and a magnetic detector (8) including a magnetic sensor of an analog output type disposed in face-to-face relation with the to-be-detected member (7). Only a range in which a magnetic characteristic of the to-be-detected member (7) relative to the magnetic detector (8) exhibits linearity is used for detection of rotation angle of the rotatable raceway member (2).
