摘要: A power transmitting apparatus may include: an electric supplementary drive unit; a torque converting device having first, second, and third rotation elements, wherein the first rotation element is connected to the electric supplementary drive unit, the second rotation element is connected to an engine, and the third rotation element is operated as an output element; a first input shaft directly connected to the second rotation element, and a second input shaft directly connected to the third rotation element; a direct coupling device selectively connecting two rotation elements among the first, second, and third rotation elements, a first speed output unit having first and second synchronizer modules, and a second speed output unit having third and fourth synchronizer modules; and a reverse speed device having an idle gear and engaging to any one input gear on the first and second input shafts.

摘要: A multi-mode hybrid transmission for transmitting power from a prime mover and a stored source of energy to a final drive shaft. The transmission may include an input shaft to receive torque from the prime mover, a countershaft operatively coupled to the final drive shaft, a plurality of gear pairs each defining a torque path from the input shaft to the countershaft, a synchromesh clutch assembly to selectively couple the input shaft with a desired gear pair, and first and second electric machines rotatably carried by the input shaft. The first electric machine can provide a motive force to the final drive shaft and the second electric machine can covert rotary speed of the input shaft into electrical energy. Additionally, the first and second electric machines can provide supplemental torque to the output shaft during periods of reduced torque from the prime mover associated with a change in torque path.

Another aspect may be selection of the worm gear helix angle to effect a balance between worm gear teeth friction and load placed on the worm gear by the planetary gear set, such that power required to drive the worm gear is minimized for all input load conditions.

摘要: A hybrid drive for a motor vehicle comprises an automated conventional gearbox, an internal combustion engine having a drive connection a first transmission input shaft, an electric drive having a drive connection to a second transmission input shaft, a layshaft, freely moving wheels and fixed wheels being arranged in a plurality of wheel set planes, a plurality of gear shift devices, and a transmission output shaft. The two transmission input shafts are arranged coaxially with respect to one another. In one of its shifted positions a gear shift device connects the two transmission input shafts to one another effectively in terms of drive, and in another shifted position shifts a gearspeed.

摘要: A dual clutch transmission designed as a reduction gearing which has concentric central and hollow transmission shafts, exactly one layshaft, and two power shift elements. A hollow shaft is provided coaxially on the layshaft, which can be rotatably fixed to the layshaft, via one shift device, and to which at least two gears of the gear stages are rotatably fixed. A further hollow shaft is provided coaxially on either the central or the hollow transmission shaft, which can be connected, via one of the shift devices, with the central or the hollow transmission shaft and to which at least two further gears of the gear stages are rotatably fixed. At least three transmission ratios are obtainable as a result of engaging the shift element into the power flow in three of the gear stages, by which one transmission ratio results from engaging only one shift element into the power flow.

摘要: Provided is a hybrid-vehicle control device that can continue high-speed driving, without transitioning to the HEV mode, by raising the motor torque limit during driving in the EV mode. The hybrid-vehicle control device includes: an engine; a motor that starts the engine and that drives driving wheels; a first clutch that switches between the HEV mode and the EV mode; an automatic transmission; and an electric-vehicle mode control means. The smaller the transmission ratio of the transmission is during driving in the EV mode, the smaller the value of the engine start torque, which is reserved for transitioning to the HEV mode, is made by the electric-vehicle mode control means.

摘要: Several configurations of a hybrid drive train are disclosed using a one-way clutch to prevent reverse power flow from the drive train to a free power turbine. The drive trains are parallel configurations including a generator/motor that can provide a dynamic or regenerative braking capability or a power boost if required. The drive train can be based on a manual or automatic transmission. A dry clutch can be used to engage and disengage the engine from the transmission. A generator/motor can be used to neutralize torque for disengaging the gearing in a transmission or to synchronize the rotational speeds of the gearing for engaging the gearing in a transmission, thus eliminating the need for a dry clutch when a manual transmission is used.

摘要: A transmission having a plurality of tilting balls and opposing input and output discs provides an infinite number of speed combinations over its transmission ratio range. The transmission provides multiple powerpaths and can be combined with electrical components to provide motor/generator functionality, which reduces the overall size and complexity of the motor and transmission compared to when they are constructed separately. In one embodiment, rotatable components of a continuously variable transmission are coupled separately to an electrical rotor and to an electrical stator so that the rotor and stator rotate simultaneously in opposite directions relative to one another. In other embodiments, an electrical rotor is configured to transfer torque to or from a disc that is in contact with a plurality of speed adjusters, while an electrical stator is configured to transfer torque to a shaft that is operationally coupled to the speed adjusters via an idler.
